Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin bilgiler verilmiş ve konuyla ilgili uygulama yapılmıştır. Araştırmada eğitim sorunlarımız ve varolan bu sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerilerimize yer verilmiştir. Batıda öğretmenlik mesleğinin profesyonel bir meslek olduğu vurgulanırken, ülkemizde de öğretmenlik mesleğindeki değişmelerin profesyonelleşme yolunda olmasının gerekliliği vurgulanmıştır. Ama her şeyden önce amacımız öğretmenlik mesleğinin yeniden tanıtıcı bilgilerle gözden geçirmek ve öğretmenlerin mesleksel kimi sorunlarını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma iki ayrı araştırma niteliğinde düzenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci aşamasında ülkemizde öğretmenlik mesleği tanıtılmış ve ikinci aşamada öğretmenlerin kimi sorunları ve beklentileri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu beklenti ve sorunlar irdelenirken kaliteli insan yetiştirme ile öğretmenlik mesleği arasında bir bağlantı kurulmaya çalışılmıştır. O halde eğitimimiz bilimsel bir yaklaşımla irdelenmeli ve öğretmenlik profesyonel bir meslek olarak ele alınmalıdır. Eğitimde süreklilik ve eğitimin ilke ive amaçlarının uygulama alanında gözlenmesinin gerekliliği en önemli sorunlarımızdandır. Çalışmada bu sorunlar çözüm önerileri ve tanıtıcı bilgilerle birlikte ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış ve öğretmenlerin ve öğretmen yetiştirme düzenimizin sorunları ele alınmıştır.
II SUMMARY In this study, some information is given about being a teacher in Turkey and an application is performed about the subject. Our educational problems and suggestions about solutions of those problems are concerned in this research. As it is emphasized that being a teacher is a professional occupation in western countries, this study underlines the necessity that the changer should be in the same direction indeed. Our initial aim is to examine this occupation by re-introducing information and evaluate occupational problems. The study is formed in two research-characteristics. In the first phase, being a teacher in our country is introduced and in the second phase, some problems and expectations of the occupation are evaluated. A relation between the profession and bringing up qualified individuals is tried to be formed while discussing tehese problems and expectations. There fore our education should be evaluated by a scientific approach and being a teacher should be considered as a professional occupation. Continuity of education an necessity of observation of principles and aims of education in use are two of our most important problems. These problems and suggestions for solutions are tried to be examined by introducing information and the problems of teachers. Problems of the teachers and the system of educating teachers are included too.
