Özet
II ÖZET Bu tez çalışmasının amacı, örgün eğitim kurumlarından ilköğretim okullarında, eğitimde şiddetin varlığını devam ettirdiğini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma bu çerçevede, Van'ın Erciş ilçesi ile Sivas Merkez ilçedeki ilköğretim okullarında yapılmıştır. Bu çalışma anket ve görüşme yöntemi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen verilerde SPSS programı vasıtası ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmaya 283'ü Sivas'tan, 117'si Erciş'ten olmak üzere toplam 400 öğrenci katıldı. Bu öğrencilerin %49'u erkek öğrencilerden, %51'i de kız öğrencilerden oluşmuştur. Anket uygulamasının zorluğu sebebi ile bir, iki, üç ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri araştırma dışında tutulmuştur. Bu anlamda beş, altı, yedi ve sekizinci sınıf öğrencileri araştırmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin %57'si okulda şiddet gördüğünü dile getirirken, %43'ü okulda şiddet görmediğini ifade etmiştir. Netice itibari ile örgün eğitim kurumlarında şiddetin varlığım sürdürdüğü sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Ill SUMMARY Main target of this research is proving that violence goes on at the primary school education. With this aim, this research made over primary school in the center of Erciş, county of Van and Sivas. At this research questionnaire and interview methods are used. The data which are collected by this research are analyzed with SPSS. 283 students from Sivas and 117 students from Erciş, totally 400 students joined to this research %49 of the students are male and %51 of the students are female who are joined to the study. Since the questionnaire method is difficult to apply, first, second, third and fourth degree students were not added to research, so fifth, sixth, seventh end eighth degree student are included to this study. %57 of the students that are joined to the study expressed that they were exposed to violence and the %43 expressed that they were not exposed to violence. Consequently, this study draw us a conclusion that violence is an ongoing problem at educational associations.
