Betimsel tarama modeli kullanılan bu araştırmada, 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Türkiye'nin farklı devlet üniversitelerinin eğitim fakültesi müzik öğretmenliği anabilim dalında, güzel sanatlar fakültesinde ve konservatuvarda öğrenim gören ve mezun olmuş 203 müzik öğretmen adayının elde edilen verileri ile hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma verileri, şiddet tutum düzeylerini belirlemek için Adıbelli ve Saçan ve Türkoğlu (2017) tarafından geliştirilen "Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Şiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği" ile müzik öğretmen adaylarının kişisel bilgileri için araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Şiddet tutum ölçeğinde beşli likert tipi 52 sorudan, kişisel bilgi formunda ise 27 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 istatistiksel paket programında değerlendirilip, analizleri yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda müzik öğretmen adaylarının şiddet tutum düzeylerinin cinsiyet, yaş, mezun oldukları lise, mezun oldukları üniversite, çalgı, izledikleri film/dizi türleri, tercih ettikleri müzik türleri ve sanat dalları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu, okudukları kitap türleri ve tercih etmedikleri müzik türleri arasında ise anlamlı bir fark olmadığı saptanmıştır. Anahtar Sözcükler: Şiddet, Sanat Eğitimi, Müzik Eğitimi, Öğretmen Adayı.The aim of this research is to determine the violence attitude levels of music teacher candidates who have graduated from different state universities in Turkey and have graduated from the Music Teaching Department in the USA and have not yet been assigned, and to examine the results with different variables. In this research using descriptive scanning model, it was prepared with the data obtained from 203 music teacher candidates who studied and graduated from different state universities in Turkey in the 2021-2022 academic year. The research data were obtained by using the "Attitude Scale towards Violence in University Students" developed by Adıbelli and Saçan and Türkoğlu (2017) to determine the violence attitude levels, and the personal information form prepared by the researcher for the personal information of music teacher candidates. The violence attitude scale consists of 52 questions in a five-point Likert type, and 27 questions in the personal information form. The obtained data were evaluated and analyzed in SPSS 22 statistical package program. As a result of the research, there is a significant difference between the violence attitude levels of the music teacher candidates, their gender, age, the high school they graduated from, the university they graduated from, the instrument, the movie/series genres they watch, the music genres they prefer and the branches of art, and there is a significant difference between the types of books they read and the music genres they do not prefer. It was found that there was no significant difference.
