Drug molecule successfully inhibit the corrosion of metallic sample. Results revealed the increased inhibition efficiency with increased concentration of Pipotiazine and at a concentration of 1000 ppm, the maximum inhibition efficiency was reached at 73% and inhibitor showed a mixed type of behavior. Protection of metallic sample was further validated with the scanning electron microscopy. Surface study also confirmed the reduction in roughness, on the addition of Pipotiazine drug molecule. © 2023 American Institute of Physics Inc..
