Fakat iki farklı pedikül tekniğinin uzun dönem estetik sonuçları açısından birbiri ile ilişkisini ve tanımlanmış ideal estetik meme kavramına uyup uymadığını, objektif tanımlamalar ile ifade eden çalışma sayısı son derece azdır. Çalışmamızda 2016-2022 yılları arasında süperior pediküllü vertikal mamoplasti ve dermal askılama uygulanan medial pediküllü vertikal mamoplasti teknikleriyle ameliyat edilen hastalar değerlendirilmiştir. Hastaların ameliyat öncesi ve ameliyat sonrası en az 6. ayda frontal ve lateral açılardan çekilen fotoğrafları üzerinde fotometrik ölçümler yapılarak; SSN-N mesafesi, meme projeksiyonu, üst pol projeksiyonu, total meme alanı, total meme hacmi, üst ve alt pol alanları, üst ve alt pol vertikal uzunluk oranları, nipple'ın vertikal düzlemde yer değiştirme mesafesi (nipple transpozisyonu), meme konveksitesi ve meme parankimal oranı hesaplandı. Her iki teknik birbiriyle yukardaki parametreler açısından karşılaştırıldı. Toplam 35 hasta değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. 19 hastada süperior pedikül, 16 hastada dermal askılamalı medial pedikül tekniği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirme sonucunda her iki pedikül grubunda da hedeflenen ideal estetik oranların yakalanabildiği ve dermal askılama uygulanarak medial pedikül tekniği kullanılan memelerin, preoperatif ölçümlerinde meme alanı, hacmi ve cerrahi sırasında çıkarılan doku miktarı daha fazla olmasına rağmen elde edilen postoperatif meme projeksiyonunun, konveksitesinin ve ideal estetik oranlarının süperior pedikül kullanılmış hastalardan elde edilen sonuçlara benzer olduğu görülmüştür. Fotometrik ölçümler kullanılarak yapılan değerlendirme sonucunda, dermal askılama uygulanan medial pediküllü mamoplasti ve süperior pediküllü vertikal mamoplasti ile alınan uzun dönem sonuçların birbirine benzer olduğu ve bir çok parametre için postoperatif değerlerin istatistiksel analizinde aralarında fark olmadığı görülmüştür.There are studies in the literature about the expected long-term aesthetic results of the preferred pedicle technique, in reduction mammaplasty. However, the number of studies expressing the relationship of two different pedicle techniques with each other in terms of long-term aesthetic results and whether they fit the defined ideal aesthetic breast concept with objective definitions is extremely rare. In our study, patients who were operated between the years of 2016-2022, with superior pedicle vertical mammaplasty and medial pedicle with dermal suspension vertical mammaplasty techniques were evaluated. Photometric measurements were made on the photographs taken from the frontal and lateral angles of the patients. Photographs were taken before and at least 6 months after the operation. SSN-N distance, breast projection, upper pole projection, total breast area, total breast volume, upper and lower pole areas, upper and lower pole vertical length ratios, nipple displacement distance in the vertical plane (nipple transposition), breast convexity and breast parenchymal ratio was calculated. Both techniques were compared with each other in terms of the above parameters. A total of 35 patients were evaluated. Superior pedicle technique was used in 19 patients and medial pedicle technique with dermal suspension was used in 16 patients. As a result of the evaluation, ideal aesthetic ratios can be achieved in both pedicle groups and although the preoperative measurements of the breasts using the medial pedicle technique by applying dermal suspension, the breast area, volume and the amount of tissue removed during the surgery were higher, the postoperative breast projection, convexity and ideal aesthetic ratios were found to be similar to the results obtained from patients who were operated with superior pedicle.
