ULUSLARARASI MÜZİK VE GÜZEL SANATLAR EĞİTİMİ SEMPOZYUMU 2022

Abstract

We are pleased to announce the 2nd International Music and Fine Arts Education Symposium (UMGES 2022) which will be held in Sivas on October 7-8-9, 2022 by the Department of Fine Arts Education, Faculty of Education, Sivas Cumhuriyet University.

The symposium aims to bring together academicians, music educators, musicians and music researchers from different countries and share their experiences. Since this symposium is not thematic, any musical topic suggested by our speakers is accepted. Participants in each session will be arranged according to their topics.

The symposium will be held online via the ZOOM program. Each speaker will have 30 minutes of speaking time, including questions and answers. It was decided that each session would consist of five people (one moderator and four speakers).

Paper topics and abstracts will be received from the invited speakers until 15 July 2022.

The online concert that will take place during the symposium and the online painting exhibition events attended by the invited artists will also be opened to the audience on October 7, 2022. Participants who want to participate in the online concert event are required to send the concert video recordings. Video recordings should last a minimum of 15 minutes.

The symposium will also include an online workshop. There will be a group of students who want to participate voluntarily in the workshop, the students in this group will watch the workshop and ask their questions to the workshop manager. A moderator, an invited artist who prepared and directed the workshop, and students will take part in the workshop session.
