Farklı retrograd dolgu maddelerinin sızıntı değerlendirmesi: Endotoksin sızıntı çalışması
Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmada, beş farklı retrograd dolgu maddesinin zamana bağlı endotoksin sızdırmazlığının Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) testi kullanılarak karşılaştırılması amaçlandı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmada 30 adet çekilmiş tek köklü insan mandibular premolar diflleri kullanıldı. Köklerin apikal 3 mm’si ve difllerin kronları uzaklaştırıldı. Step back tekniği kullanılarak kök kanalları prepare edildi ve retrograd kaviteler açıldı. Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the ability of five different root-end fillings to prevent endotoxin leakage over time using the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) test. Material and Method: Thirty newly extracted single-rooted human mandibular premolars were used. The apical 3 mm of roots and the crowns of the teeth were separated. Root canals were prepared using the step-back technique and simulated root-end cavities performed. The teeth were divided into five groups and then root-end cavities were filled with selected root-end fillings. Group 1 were filled with amalgam; group 2 were filled with mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA); group 3 were filled with a glass-ionomer cement (Fuji II LC); group 4 were filled with a reinforced zinc oxide-eugenol cement (Super EBA); and group 5 were filled with a composite resin & dentin bonding system (P60 & Single Bond). At 1-day and 14-day after filling, the endotoxin leakage along these fillings was determined. Conclusion: According to the results, Overall the root-end fillings were had evidence of leakage but no statistically significant differences in rate of leakage among the groups.
