Tödürge Gölü’ndeki (Sivas) cyprinid hibritlerinin [s. cephalus (l.) x a. chalcoides (g.)] üreme biyolojisi

Abstract

Sunulan çalışmada doğal koşullarda meydana gelen Squalius cephalus x Alburnus chalcoides hibritlerinin çeşitli üreme özellikleri saptanmıştır. İlk olarak hibritlerin eşeysel olgunluğa erişme yaşları belirlenmiştir. Gonadosomatik indeks, gonad ağırlığı, yumurta çapı ve bir gram ovaryumdaki yumurta sayısının aylık değişimleri incelenerek üreme zamanları tespit edilmiştir. Yaş gruplarına göre ortalama fekondite değerleri belirlenmiştir. Hem dişi hem de erkek bireyler II yaşında eşeysel olgunluğa erişmiştir. Eşeysel olgunluğa ulaşmış en küçük dişi ve erkek balıkta çatal boy değeri 123 mm ve 127 mm olarak ölçülmüştür. Dişi bireylerin ortalama gonadosomatik indeks değeri Mayıs ayında en yüksek (9.48), Temmuz ayında ise en düşük (0.92) düzeydedir. Ortalama testis ağırlığı 0.23 g ile 1.56 g arasında değişmiştir. En küçük ve en büyük yumurta çapı 0.23 mm 1.72 mm olarak ölçülmüştür. Bir gram ovaryumda 516 ile 2665 arasında yumurta sayılmıştır. Gonadosomatik indeks, gonad ağırlığı, yumurta çapı ve bir gram ovaryumdaki yumurta sayılarının aylık değişimlerine göre Tödürge Gölü’ndeki S. cephalus x A. chalcoides hibritlerinde yumurtlama Mayıs ayında başlamış ve Temmuz ayının sonuna kadar devam etmiştir. Ortalama yumurta sayısı II. yaş grubunda 2238, III. yaş grubunda ise 4250 olarak belirlenmiştir. Hibrit bireylerin fekondite değerleri, aynı yaş grubunda bulunan S. cephalus ve A. chalcoides’in fekondite değerlerinden oldukça düşüktür.

In present study, the different reproductive properties of hybrids of Squalius cephalus x Alburnus chalcoides which occured under natural conditions, were determined. Firstly, the sexual maturity ages for males and females were indicated. The reproductive period was defined according to the monthly changes of gonadosomatic index, gonad weight, egg diameter and egg number in per gram of ovarium. Mean fecundity was determined for each age group. Both females and males were attained sexual maturity at II age. The values of fork length for the smallest female and male with mature gonads were measured as 123 mm and 127 mm, respectively. The maximum value of mean gonadosomatic index for females was determined in May (9.48). However, in July the index revealed minimum values (0.92). The minimum and maximum egg diameters were measured as 0.23 mm and 1.72 mm, respectively. Egg number in per gram of ovarium was changed between 516 and 2665. According to the monthly changes in the gonadosomatic index, gonad weight, egg diameter, and egg number in per gram of ovarium, it was determined that the spawning in hybrids of S. cephalus x A. chalcoides in Tödürge Lake began in May and continued until end of July. Mean fecundity was determined as 2238 for II age group, and as 4250 for III age group. The values of fecundity of the hybrids were quite lower than the values of S. cephalus and A. chalcoides in the same age group.
