Social gender is one of the significant problem areas that are discussed both around the world and in our country, which should be emphasized. Social gender, which means transferring the social and cultural patterns/stereotypes in a paternalist society to individuals, also teaches women in this process through learned helplessness that they do not control their lives, they cannot overcome these stereotypes no matter what they do, and they should give in to their destiny. Learned helplessness teaches individuals what they should and should not do through the socialization process in the current social structure (and this person is generally a woman) that they learn to lose in a way, by demonstrating attitudes and behaviours that should be by not even thinking about trying a new/different act/trial without going beyond those stereotypes in life. Women, who are defined in accordance with men in the process of socialization as a result of many elements in the society such as sociocultural and economic and seen as a creature that is rendered weak, dependent and to be possessed by marginalizing them, develop the understanding of fatalism in the real sense, in the process of making decision about their lives. This study will address the effect of learned helplessness in the framework of the current social gender perception on the situation/position of women who are trying to get a place in the society (both in private and public areas). Articles, books, magazines and the Internet were reviewed with regard to the research by applying to documentary observation in this study in the form of compilation, and in the subsequent process, the data available were interpreted and reported after being gathered under suitable titles.en_US
