Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Şehirle Kurduğu Ekonomik ve Sosyal İlişkilerden Memnuniyet Analizi: Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma, üniversitesi öğrencilerinin eğitim gördükleri kentle kurduğu ilişkilerin ekonomik ve sosyal boyutlarıyla incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Bilindiği üzere, Türkiye'de üniversite sayısı hızla artmaktadır. Ülkemizde üniversitesi olmayan kent kalmamıştır. Özellikle küçük ve orta ölçekli kentler için üniversiteler ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel alanlarda oldukça büyük öneme sahiptir. Bu doğrultuda Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi öğrencilerine yönelik bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Bu araştırma 630 öğrenciye anket formu uygulanarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere dayalı olarak öğrencilerin memnuniyet yahut memnuniyetsizlik hallerinin nedenlerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Öğrenci ile şehir ilişkisinin yönü ve içerimleri gibi bağlamlarda mevcut sorun alanlarının belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Tespit edilen sorunların öğrencilerin üniversite tercihlerini etkileyecek boyutta olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur.

This study aims to analyse university students' relationships with the city where they study in economic and social aspects. As is known, the number of universities in Turkey has been increasing rapidly. There is no city in our country without at least one university. Especially, for small and medium-sized cities universities have great importance in economic, social and cultural areas. Accordingly, a survey was performed on students of Cumhuriyet University. This survey was performed by means of conducting questionnaire sheets on 630 students. In the light of the data gathered, it is aimed to find out the reasons of satisfaction and dissatisfaction cases of the students. It is targeted to determine present problem areas in contexts like direction and contents of student and city relationship. It is revealed that the size of the stated problems have an effect upon students' choice of university.
