Development of Pricing Model for Turkish Lignites [Türkiye linyitleriçin fiyatlandirma modeli oluşturulmasi]
Abstract
The objective of this study is to develop a general pricing model for Turkish Lignites that are mainly sold to the thermal plants. In order to reach at this aim, hedonic analyses have been carried out by using coal prices and parameters (calorific value, ash content, etc.) of some thermal plants. The results of hedonic analyses indicate that electricity price and calorific value are effective parameters on lignite prices. Based on these results and pricing method of metal concentrateeneral pricing model, which takes into account electricity price and calorific value, has been developed.
