dc.description.abstractLake Aktaş is a small, shallow, and turbid soda lake located between Turkey and Georgia. During the survey, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, NO3-N, NH4-N, TP, SRP, silicate, major anions (Cl-, SO4-, HCO-3, CO-3) and cations (Ca++, Na+, Mg++, K+), total chlorophyll, phytoplankton, zooplankton and macrophytes were determined in the lake. The phytoplankton of Lake Aktaş consists of Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Euglenophyta, Bacillariophyta, Cryptophyta, Dinophyta and Chrysophyta, whereas that of zooplankton consists of Copepoda, Chladocera and Rotifera. © by PSP 2008.en_US
