İnferior oblik adale tenotomisi sonuçlarımız

Abstract

Farkh klinik belirtileri olmasına rağmen hem primer hem de sekon-der inferior oblik adale biperfonksiyonlarının tedavisi için adale fonksiyonlarını zayıflatıcı pekçok cerrahi yöntem tarif edilmiştir. Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Göz Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalında bu amaçla inferior oblik adale' tenotomisi 1989 yılından bu yana uygulanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada takip süresi en az 6 ay olan 27 olgunun inferior oblik adale tenotomisi sonuçları retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Olguların 7'sine bilateral, 20'sine unilateral inferior oblik adale tenotomisi yapıldı. Ortalama 23(6-41) ay takip sonrasında 34 gözün 6'smda rezidüel inferior oblik hiperfonksiyonu görülerek cerrahi basan oranı %82.4 olarak saptandı. Hiçbir olguda inferior oblik hipofonksiyonu veya yapışma sendromu görülmedi. Bu sonuçlar diğer yöntemlere göre uygulaması daha çabuk ve gü¬venli olarak görülen inferior oblik adale tenotomisinin tercih edile¬bilecek etkili bir cerrahi yöntem olduğunu göstermektedir.

Many surgical procedures have been described to weaken overacting inferior oblique muscle. Since 1989, tenotomy of the inferior oblique muscle has been performed at De¬partment of Ophthalmology in Cumhuriyet University, Fa¬culty of Medicine. In this study tenotomy results of 27 patients, with a minimum follow-up period of 6 months, were evaluated retrospectively, 6 of the 34 eyes had resi¬dual overaction of the inferior oblique muscle. The suc¬cess rate was 82.4%. No complications such as inferior oblique underaction or "adherence syndrome" were obser¬ved. This study showed that, tenotomy of the inferior oblique muscle was a quick and easy procedure with suc¬cessful results.
