Öğe Comparison of the Web Based Multimedia Protocols for NAT Traversal Performance(IEEE, 2015) Arslan, Halil; Tuncel, Sinan; Yuksek, A. GurkanRTMFP and WebRTC standards for Web-based real-time media data sharing applications are provided significant gains. These types of applications and are among the topics researched intensely. A model for the web based real time transmission of media data is suggested within this study. WebRTC and RTMFP standards are compared with regard to the factors affecting the service quality such as packets for signaling and connectability as to be between different NAT types, addressing specifically the techniques that are used for NAT transmission. Advantages and disadvantages are demonstrated.Öğe Design of Project Based Positioning and Project Planning System for Mobile Employee(IEEE, 2018) Arslan, Halil; Yuksek, A. Gurkan; Gun, OsmanIt is important that the employee of mobile-based companies (software consultancy, etc.) on the computer are able to make position takings and integrate these positions with project planning systems. This study targets an abstractly designed software product that can integrate with other enterprise applications where location identification and follow-up of personnel using IP based system (tablet, phone, pc, etc.) can be done. After this software product collects the physical location definitions of the employee (GPS, WPS and IP) and performs the appropriate validation steps, it provides outputs that can be done on a project / customer basis based on location / employee location by converting logical locations like project, customer etc.. It is anticipated that this study will provide significant gains and administrative facilities for mobile employee companies by designing to meet the need to know which employee is in which location.Öğe Evaluation of blast-induced ground vibrations in open-pit mines by using adaptive neuro- fuzzy inference systems(SPRINGER, 2017) Kocaslan, Arzu; Yuksek, A. Gurkan; Gorgulu, Kazim; Arpaz, ErcanThis study addresses the effects of rock characteristics and blasting design parameters on blast-induced vibrations in the Kangal open-pit coal mine, the Tulu openpit boron mine, the Kirka open-pit boron mine, and the TKI C, an coal mine fields. Distance (m, R) and maximum charge per delay (kg, W), stemming (m, SB), burden (m, B), and S-wave velocities (m/s, Vs) obtained from in situ field measurements have been chosen as input parameters for the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS)based model in order to predict the peak particle velocity values. In the ANFIS model, 521 blasting data sets obtained from four fields have been used (r (2) = 0.57-0.81). The coefficient of ANFIS model is higher than those of the empirical equation (r (2) = 1). These results show that the ANFIS model to predict PPV values has a considerable advantage when compared with the other prediction models.Öğe Examining of Single Sign on Protocols and A Model of Business Application(IEEE, 2017) Arslan, Halil; Karki, H. Dogan; Yuksek, A. Gurkan; Kaynar, OguzUsers have to require authentication with many times different a set of username and password which access various service providers and applications in their daily task and on social life. In this case, the user must need to memorize many pair of a set of username and password. This one is then to enforce the users using ordinary/same passwords or to keep note of passwords somewhere. It is a problem as a secret of private user information on social life which to generate more crucial problems for a business applications. To get rid of this problem, a single sign on (SSO) is suggested. SSO describing a set of username and password maintain multiply passwords to access for different service providers and applications. In this study, we argued out the prevalent and the current issue of SSO protocols in literature and CAS which is one of the SSO protocols, is used to examine a model of business application.Öğe Investigation of blast-induced ground vibrations in the Tulu boron open pit mine(SPRINGER HEIDELBERG, 2013) Gorgulu, Kazim; Arpaz, Ercan; Demirci, Ahmet; Kocaslan, Arzu; Dilmac, M. Kursat; Yuksek, A. GurkanBlasting, which is widely used in hard rock mining, construction, and quarrying, can have a considerable impact on the surrounding environment. The intensity of the blast-induced ground vibration is affected by parameters such as the physical and mechanical properties of the rock mass, characteristics of the explosive, and the blasting design. The rock characteristics can change greatly from field to field or from one part of a bench to another part, and can have directional variability according to discontinuities in the geological formation and structure. In this study, field measurements were carried out and their results were evaluated to determine blast-induced ground vibrations at the Eti Mine Tulu Boron Mining Facility, Turkey. Our results showed different field constants for the propagating blast vibrations depending on the direction of propagation (K = 211.25-3,671.13 and beta = 1.04-1.90) and the damping behavior of the particle velocity. Additionally, we found that the field constants decrease as the rock mass rating (%) values diminishes. A much higher correlation coefficient (R (2) = 0. 95) between the predicted and measured peak particle velocity (PPV) values was achieved for our modeling studies for PPV prediction using artificial neural networks compared with classical evaluation methods.Öğe Investigation of the effects of blasting design parameters and rock properties on blast-induced ground vibrations(SPRINGER HEIDELBERG, 2015) Gorgulu, Kazim; Arpaz, Ercan; Uysal, Onder; Duruturk, Y. Selim; Yuksek, A. Gurkan; Kocaslan, Arzu; Dilmac, M. KursatThis study addresses the effects of rock characteristics and blasting design parameters on blast-induced vibrations in the Kangal open-pit coal mine, the Tulu open-pit boron mine, and the Kirka open-pit boron mine. In this study, multiple vibration measurements have been conducted, and the related data have been analyzed and evaluated. Several artificial neural network (ANN) and regression models based on the same blasting design parameters, resistivity, and P-wave and S wave velocities of the surrounding rocks have been constructed to estimate the peak particle velocities and the frequencies of related blast-induced vibrations. The data derived from these models and the classical evaluations indicate that ANNs provide more reliable results than the other methods.Öğe A New Approach Based on Blockchain for User Access Management Problem of IoT Environments(IEEE, 2018) Arslan, Halil; Yuksek, A. Gurkan; Aslan, HilalThe Internet of Things (IoT) is a popular concept that has begun to take its place in our lives today with the growth and development of smart devices. With the spread of such technologies, it is inevitable that some security problems will arise. In terms of IoT systems, the communication of devices, the management of connections, the storage of distributed data, the authentication and authorization procedures on devices emerge significant security risks. In this study, a new approach based on blockchain for user access management problem of IoT environments is proposed in the light of current literature, considering the application level security vulnerabilities in IoT devices. In this context, blockchain technology for user access management and Keycloak which provides single sign-on infrastructure for authentication and session management uses in IoT devices.
