Öğe Development process for eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors(Elsevier, 2022) Rbaa, Mohamed; Galai, Mouhsine; Dagdag, Omar; Guo, Lei; Tüzün, Burak; Berdimurodov, Elyor; Zarrouk, AbdelkaderCurrently, the eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors are widely used to protect the metallic materials from the corrosion destruction. The eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors are biodegradable, low toxic, low volatile, low cost, good water soluble, good adsorbent, and do not contain heavy metals or other toxic compounds. The plant extracts and natural substances are suggested as an eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors in the various corrosion medium. The corrosion of steel, copper, magnesium, aluminum and other metal based metallic materials in the aggressive acidic, alkaline, saline and other corrosion medium are efficiently protect with the presence of eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors. The cost in the synthesizing natural inhibitors is very low and syntheses processes are environmental friendly. This make eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors become more efficient as an economically and environmentally. In this chapter, the development process for eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors, their advantages and their inconveniences are discussed and reviewed. © 2022 Elsevier Inc. The steel based metallic materials are most common in the gas and oil industry [1–3]. However, a high percentage of the steel materials are damaged by corrosion in acidic environments [4]. Therefore, to protect steel materials is ongoing problem. Currently, many researches are interested to going research in the corrosion protection.Öğe Multifunctional Magnetic Nanoparticles in Hyperthermia Therapy(CRC Press, 2024) Rbaa, Mohamed; Hichar, Abdelhadi; Oubaaqa, Mohamed; Seghiri, Rajaa; Berdimurodov, Elyor; Tüzün, Burak; Zarrouk, AbdelkaderAn overview of the writing on the application of multifunctional magnetic nanoparticles (MF-MNP) in hyperthermia treatment is given in this chapter. With their special attractive characteristics, these MF-MNP can be utilized to target and wipeout warm tissues. These magnetic nanoparticles with numerous capacities can also cause hyperthermia. They have an assortment of capacities that permit them to be utilized in a wide range of settings, such as demonstrative imaging and applications like destroying cancer cells. MF-MNP has incredible possibilities for progressing the treatment of infection. © 2025 selection and editorial matter, Edited by Elyor Berdimurodov, Chaudhery Mustansar Hussain, and Burak Tüzün; individual chapters, the contributors.Öğe Polymeric organic Amberlite™ IRC-200 extract resin compound as a novel corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel in 1.0 M HCl acid: detail experimental, surface, molecular studies (DFT + MC/MD) and kinetic isotherm adsorption(Springer, 2025) Bensalah, Jaouad; Hmada, Abdelfettah; Bouzakraoui, Said; Dkhireche, Nadia; Zarrouk, Abdelkader; Erdoğan, Şaban; Tüzün, BurakThe potential adsorbent for inhibitors of corrosion in HCl 1.0 M was investigated using experimental and modeling data on a novel cationic polymeric resin composite called Amberlite™ IRC-200. The resin has a significantly better ability to adsorb the Ni(II) ions. Molecular dynamics (MD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and DFT theory were among the methods used to examine the polymeric adsorbent resin. In this work, the adsorbent cationic polymeric resin is used to suppress corrosion in HCl 1.0 M. Experimental results demonstrated that ACQ and DAQ significantly increased MS corrosion resistance; results from Tafel polarization demonstrated that resin polymeric compounds exhibited disordered-type inhibitory properties with varying corrosion rates. Results from the highest best impedance experiments showed that at 100 ppm, ACQ inhibited performance to a 94.9% degree. Adsorption of the cationic adsorbent polymeric resin followed the most recent findings in the Langmuir model, and the most recent estimations of thermodynamic parameters indicated physisorption. Scanning transmission electron microscopy was used to investigate the MS morphological investigation. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2025.Öğe Preparation of Multifunctional Nanoparticles for Applications in Biomedicine(CRC Press, 2024) Rbaa, Mohamed; Seghiri, Rajaa; Oubaaqa, Mohamed; Tüzün, Burak; Berdimurodov, Elyor; Zarrouk, AbdelkaderIn this chapter, we look at the definitions and characteristics of multifunctional magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs), as well as their volume and size. We also explore the uses of multifunctional magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) in biomedicine, specifically in nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and the early detection of diseases. Additionally, we go over a number of chemical and biological synthesis techniques for synthesizing multifunctional magnetic nanoparticles, emphasizing the benefits of these approaches over others. © 2025 selection and editorial matter, Edited by Elyor Berdimurodov, Chaudhery Mustansar Hussain, and Burak Tüzün; individual chapters, the contributors.Öğe Synthesis methods and description for new derivatives associated with 8-hydroxyquinoline and their use as acidic corrosion inhibitors for steel and other alloys: a review(Walter De Gruyter Gmbh, 2024) Rbaa, Mohamed; Berdimurodov, Elyor; Tuzun, Burak; Berdimuradov, Khasan; Zarrouk, AbdelkaderThe field of corrosion has recently been considered a productive field for scientific research. With the increasing use of metals in several industrial fields, such as metal construction, the construction of arches and the automobile industry, the problem of corrosion is an important issue. To solve the corrosion problem of metal materials, several methods have been discovered to combat this phenomenon, such as process control, cathodic protection, organic and inorganic coatings. Nonetheless, the presentation of corrosion inhibitors, particularly organic inhibitors, stays the least expensive and simplest technique for the insurance of metals against consumption in acidic media. In this work, it was summed up the strategies for amalgamation and portrayal of newly innovative heterocyclic complexes from 8-hydroxyquinoline, their inhibition performances for M-steel, C40E steel and C35E steel in acidic conditions, for example, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, etc.
