dc.description.abstractAcademic entrepreneurship has an important role in bringing the results of the researches carried out in universities to the society and the economy. Although there are many studies worldwide in the relevant literature on this subject it is mentioned how the limitation of the study regarding the process of academic entrepreneurship process in Turkey. Accordingly, "How and for what purpose do academics become academic entrepreneurs?" The answer to the question remains unanswered. The academics in the faculty of education have the power to instill the entrepreneurial spirit to the teacher candidates due to their role in the nature of their fields of study. In this study, academic entrepreneurship is handled with this aspect and it is aimed to determine the academic entrepreneurship tendencies of academicians in education faculties. The sample of the study consists of six academics working in science education at the faculty of education. In the study, phenomenographic research method was used. Semi-structured interviews consisting of open-ended questions related to the concept and process of entrepreneurship were conducted to investigate the perceptions of academics on entrepreneurship. As a result of the study, it was revealed that academics assumed their social entrepreneurship roles more, and they evaluated entrepreneurship with academic anxiety, therefore they were incomplete in terms of enterprises related to opening a company and economic contribution.
dc.description.abstractAkademik girişimcilik üniversitelerde yapılan araştırmaların sonuçlarını topluma ve ekonomiye kazandırmada önemli bir role sahiptir. İlgili literatürde bu konuda dünya çapında birçok çalışma yapılmasına rağmen Türkiye’de akademik girişimcilik sürecinin nasıl işlediğine dair çalışmaların sınırlılığından bahsedilmektedir. Buna bağlı olarak da, “Akademisyenler nasıl ve ne amaçla akademik girişimci olmaktadırlar?” sorusunun cevabı yanıtsız kalmaktadır. Eğitim fakültesindeki akademisyenler çalışma alanlarının doğası gereği üstlendikleri rol itibari ile öğretmen adaylarına girişimcilik ruhunu aşılayabilecek güce sahiplerdir. Bu çalışmada, akademik girişimcilik bu yönüyle ele alınarak, eğitim fakültelerindeki akademisyenlerin akademik girişimcilik eğilimlerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemi eğitim fakültesi fen eğitimi anabilim dalında çalışan altı akademisyenden oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada fenomenografik araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Girişimcilik kavramı ve sürecine ilişkin açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı-yapılandırılmış mülakatlar yapılarak akademisyenlerin girişimcilik kavramını algılamaları araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, akademisyenlerin sosyal girişimcilik rollerini daha fazla üstlendikleri, girişimciliği akademik kaygı ile değerlendirdikleri bu sebeple şirket açma, ekonomik katkı ile ilişkili girişimler açısından eksik kaldıkları ortaya çıkmıştır.
