dc.description.abstractJinekolojik kanserler, tüm dünya kadınlarında mortalite ve morbidite açısından önemli bir halk sağlığı problemi olarak kabul edilmektedir. Hastalık yalnızca yaşamı tehdit etmekle kalmaz, aynı zamanda kadını, partnerini ve aileyi fiziksel, psikolojik, sosyal ve ekonomik yönden olumsuz olarak etkilemektedir. Tanı ve tedavi süreciyle beraber hastalar ve aileleri hastalıkla ve onun etkileriyle baş etmek zorundadırlar. Hastaların ve ailelerinin jinekolojik kanser tanısına ve tedavi sürecine psikososyal uyumlarının sağlanması ise profesyonel hemiirelik rolünün ve holistik bakımının önemli bir parçasıdır. Bu derlemede, hemşirelerin jinekolojik kanser tanısı alan bireylerin psikososyal etkilenme durumlarını değerlendirmelerine yardımcı olabilecek bilgileri verme çabası içerisine girilmiştir.
