dc.description.abstractThis article discusses the spatial construct of transvestites and transsexuals in Turkish cinema. It analyzes the films Gece Melek ve Bizim Çocuklar, Dönersen Islık Çal, and Güneşi Gördüm to reveal spatial constructs and discuss the relationships of transvestites and transsexuals to space in the films. The significant conclusion of the study shows how transvestites and transsexuals are isolated by space.
dc.description.abstractBu makalede Türkiye sinemasında travestilerin ve transseksüellerin yer aldığı filmlerdeki mekânsal kurgu incelenmektedir. Bu çalışmada Gece Melek ve Bizim Çocuklar, Dönersen Islık Çal ve Güneşi Gördüm filmleri Türkiye sinemasında travestilerin ve transseksüellerin yer aldığı filmler olarak incelenmiş ve bu filmlerdeki mekân kurgusu ve karakterlerin mekânla olan ilişkileri analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu filmleri inceleyerek Türkiye sineması özelinde travestilerin ve transseksüellerin mekândan nasıl dışlandığı analiz edilmiştir.
