dc.description.abstractÇalışma 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılında Hakkâri İlinin Şemdinli ilçesine bağlı bir ilkokulda öğrenim gören ilkokul 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin “Çevre” kavramına ilişkin algılarını metafor yoluyla incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik algılarını ve duyarlılıklarını anlamak çalışma açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 21 üçüncü sınıf öğrencisi ve 25 dördüncü sınıf öğrencisi olmak üzere toplamda 46 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada yöntem olarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim deseni kullanılmış olup çevre metaforu ile ilgili toplanan verilerin analiz edilmesinde betimsel analizden faydalanılmıştır. Metaforla ilgili bilgilerin yorumlanması için ilkokul öğrencileri “Çevre …………. gibidir; çünkü…………….’’ yönergesinin bulunduğu yarı yapılandırılmış formları doldurmuşlardır. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda öğrenciler “Çevre” kavramıyla ilgili toplamda 46 metafor oluşturmuşlardır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin oluşturduğu bu metaforlar 6 grup halinde kategorileştirilmiştir. Çevre algılarına göre en fazla benzetme objeleri “hayat kaynağı” ve “eşya ve araç-gereç” başlığı altında toplanmıştır. Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin genelde doğal çevreyle ilgili olumsuz bir benzetim yapmamaları çevre algılarının olumlu yönde olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
dc.description.abstractThe study was conducted to examine the perceptions of 3rd and 4th grade primary school students studying in a primary school in Şemdinli district of Hakkâri province in the 2022-2023 academic year on the concept of "Environment" through metaphors. For this purpose, understanding students' perceptions and sensitivities towards the environment is of great importance for the study. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 46 students, 21 third grade students and 25 fourth grade students. In the study, the phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used as the method and descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data collected about the environmental metaphor. In order to interpret the information about the metaphor, primary school students filled out semi-structured forms with the instruction "The environment is like .............; because................". In line with the findings obtained in the study, students created a total of 46 metaphors about the concept of "Environment". In the study, these metaphors created by the students were categorized into 6 groups. According to their perceptions of the environment, the most common similes were collected under the titles of "source of life" and "objects and tools". However, the fact that students generally did not make a negative analogy about the natural environment reveals that their environmental perceptions are positive.
