Patella kırıklarında cerrahi tedavi

Abstract

Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniğinde tansiyon band tekniği ile cerrahi tedavi gören 18 hasta incelendi. Bu hastalar ortalama 2.6 yıl takip edildiler. Sonuçlar Levack ve arkadaşlarının yapmış oldukları sübjektif ve objektif kriterlere göre aynca radyolojik olarak ta değerlendirildiler. Bu değerlendirmelere göre 18 hastanın 1 l'inde ( % 61.2 ) iyi, 5'inde ( % 27.7 ) orta, 2'sinde ( % 11.1) kötü sonuç alındı. Radyolojik olarak da 3 hastada ileri derecede dejeneratif değişiklik bulguları saptandı. Sonuç olarak transvers ve çok , parçalı olmayan patella kırıklarının tedavisinde tansiyon band tekniğinin etkili bir cerrahi yöntem olduğu saptandı.

We studied 18 patients who were treated by tension band wiring techniqe at the Department of Orthopaedic and Traumatology, Faculty of Medicine of Cumhuriyet University. The average fallow - up period was 2.6 years. Results were evaluated according to the radiology and subjective and objective criteria of Levack et al. 11 of 18 results were good ( 61.2 % ), 5 were fair (27.7 %), 2 were poor (11.1 %). It was found out that 3 patients had radiologically severe dejenerative changes. We concluded that tension band wiring for patellar fractures which weren't transverse and comminuted was an effective surgical therapy method.
