Travmatik kataraktlarda göziçi lens uygulamaları

Abstract

Bu çalışma travmatik katarakt tanısıyla katarakt ekstraksiyonu ve göziçi lens (GİL) uygulanan hastalarda görsel sonuçları değerlendirmek için yapıldı. Retrospektif yapılan bu çalışmaya künt travma nedeniyle 3, penetran travma nedeniyle katarakt gelişmiş 16 olgu olmak üzere toplam 19 olgu alındı. Olguların tümü tek taraflıydı ve ortalama postoperatif takip süresi 7.68±7.67 aydı. Postoperatif görme keskinliği olguların %10.5'inde 5mps ve altında, %21.1'inde 0.1-0.4, %31.6'sında 0.5-0.7 ve %36.8'inde 0.8-1.0 düzeyindeydi. Postoperatif en sık görülen komplikasyon yoğun inflamatuar reaksiyon ve arka kapsül kesafeti idi. Bu sonuçlarla travmatik kataraktlara bağlı afakinin optik rehabilitasyonunda GİL implantasyonunun uygun ve alternatif bir yöntem olabileceği düşünüldü.

This study is conducted to evaluate the visual results obtained with the intraocular lens(IOL) implantation who underwent cataract surgery for traumatic cataract. Traumatic cataract that developed in 3 cases after blunt and 16 cases after penetrating trauma, totally 19 cases were reviewed retrospectively. All cases were unilateral and mean follow up time was 7.68±7.67 months postoperatively. The visual acuity was 0.1-0.4 in 21.1% of patients, 0.5-0.7 in 31.6% of patients, 0.8-1.0 in 36.8% of patients and below 5 mps in 10.5% of patients. The most common postoperative complication was inflammatory reaction and posterior capsule opacification. It is concluded that intraocular lens implantation in patients with traumatic cataract was found to be effective and alternative procedure in the optical correction of aphakia.
