Correction of a mandibular lateral incisor-canine transposition
Abstract
Early diagnosis of a transposition can simplify the orthodontic correction. In this report, we describe the orthodontic management of a patient with mandibular right lateral incisor and canine transposition. Nonextraction therapy was performed with removable multibracket appliances. Natural tooth order was attained, and a symmetric and functional Class 1 occlusion was achieved.
