Varisli hastalarda sempatik deri yanıtlarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Sempatik deri yanıtları (SDY) periferik sinirlerin otonomik fonksiyonlarını değerlendirmede kullanılan bir tekniktir. Çalışmanın amacı, primer varislerin sempatik sinir sisteminin otonomik fonksiyonları ile olan ilişkisini araştırmaktır. Bu nedenle, alt ekstremitelerinde tek taraflı primer varisleri bulunan hastalarda SDY ölçüldü ve bu hastaların varisleri olan bacakları ile normal bacakları karşılaştırıldı. Varis bulunan bacaklardaki latens süreleri varis bulunmayan bacaklardaki latens sürelerine göre daha uzun bulundu, ancak bu değerler istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildi (p<0.05). Varis bulunan ekstremitelerde ölçülen amplitüd değerleri anlamlı olarak düşük bulundu (p<0.05). Varisli bacaklarda görülen SDY ölçümlerindeki değişim, bu bölgedeki sudomotor aktivitenin düzenlenmesinde bir bozukluk olabileceğini düşündürmektedir.

At present measurement of the sympathetic skin response (SSR) is routinely employed technique for evaluating the autonomic function of peripheral nerves. The aim of this study was to investigate the possibje correlation between the existence of varicose veins and autonomic function of central nervous system. For this purpose, SSR was measured in the patients with unilateral varicose veins in lower extremity and was compared to contrlateral normal extremity. The mean latency period measured in the extremities with varicose veins was higher than that of normal extremities, but the difference was statistically insignificant (p&gt;0.05). in the extremities with varicose changes, the amplitude va-lues vvere significantly lower (p&lt;0.05). in conclusion, the change in SSR measurement suggested that there vvould be a problem in the recjation sudomotor activity in involved areas
