Âşıklık Geleneği Ve Kültür Değişmeleri

Abstract

Kültür ve değişim kavramlarının yan yana anılması, çeşitli tartışmaları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Değişimi görüp yorumlayabilmek kısa ve uzun vadede önemli kazanımların elde edilmesini sağlayacağından bu konunun çeşitli boyutlarıyla ele alınması gerekmektedir. Bu noktada genellikle değişmesi ve değişmemesi gereken 0 unsurlar ile belirli bir süre değişime maruz kalındıktan sonra toplum içinde ortaya çıkan durumlar, çeşitli bakış açılarıyla ele alınmıştır. Özellikle yönün Batıya doğru döndüğü Osmanlı’nın son döneminden başlayarak Cumhuriyet dönemiyle devam eden Batı yönlü kültürel değişim meselesi alan araştırmacılarının üzerinde hassasiyetle durduğu bir konu olmuştur. Kültürel değişim toplum içinde iç ve dış farklı dinamiklerin bir araya gelmesi neticesine göre şekillenmektedir. Bu sebeple konuya olabildiğince farklı noktalardan kurulacak neden-sonuç ilişkileri ile yaklaşmak gerekmektedir. Toplumun yakın dönemde yaşamış olduğu kültürel değişimi yorumlamaya odaklanan bu çalışmada, Batı yönlü zihniyet değişimi ile birlikte gelen modernlik anlayışı ve onun yanında getirdiklerinin toplumun sosyo-kültürel yapısı ve âşık tarzı şiir geleneği üzerindeki etkisinin görülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bunu yaparken çalışmanın malzemesi 1950 sonrasında âşık tarzı şiir geleneği içinde aktif olarak yer alan gelenek temsilcilerinin ortaya koymuş olduğu ürünlerden elde edilmektedir. Bilindiği üzere 1950 sonrası Türkiye’sinde değişimin hızı ve boyutu çeşitli sebeplerle son derece güçlü bir şekilde artmıştır. Âşıklar, hem kültürel değişimi ciddi oranda yaşayan toplumun geniş kitlesinin içinde yer almakta hem de gelenek temsilcisi olarak modern dönem içerisinde gelenek-modern mücadelesini bizzat yaşamaktadırlar. Bu sebeple onların gözlemleri konu hakkında ayrıntılı veriler elde edilmesini sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışma temelde âşıkların gözüyle toplumda yaşanan kültürel değişimin okunması ve âşıklık geleneğinin bu dönemde yaşamış olduğu değişim ve dönüşümler olmak olmak üzere iki kısma ayrılmaktadır. Birinci kısımda değişimi ortaya çıkaran dinamikler ve değişimin toplum içinde etkili olduğu alanlar görülmeye çalışılırken ikinci kısımda ise gelenekte yaşanan değişim icracı, icra bağlamı, ürün ve geleneğin toplum üzerindeki etkisi konuları üzerinden görülmeye çalışılması söz konusudur. Böylece bir yandan kültürel değişim alanında yapılan çalışmalara bu durumu en yakın şekilde gözlemleyen kişilerin bakışıyla alternatif bakış açıları geliştirilmiş olacak diğer yandan âşıklık geleneğinin 20.yy. sonu ve 21. yy. başlarındaki durumu görülmeye çalışılarak geleneğin durumu değerlendirilip devamının nasıl şekilleneceği hakkında veriler elde edilecektir.

Mentioning about the concept of culture and change side by side brings along various debates. This issue should be dealt with in various dimensions as the ability to notice and interpret the change will lead to significant gains in the short and long term. At this point, the elements that should and should not change and the situations that arise in society after being exposed to change for a certain period of time are handled from various perspectives. Particularly, it was an issue that the researchers who took the issue of Western cultural change starting from the last period of the Ottomans in which the direction was turned towards the West and continued with the Republican period emphasized with sensitivity. Cultural change is shaped by the combination of different internal and external dynamics within society. Therefore, it is necessary to approach the issue with cause-effect relationships to be established from different points as possible. This study focuses on interpreting the cultural change that society has experienced recently, the understanding of modernity that comes with the change of the Western mindset, the socio-cultural structure of the society that brings with it and the impacts on the minstrel style of poetry. While studying this, the material of the research is obtained from the products of the representatives of the traditions which are actively involved in the minstrel style poetry tradition after 1950. It is known that the speed and size of the change in the period after 1950, Turkey has risen to an extremely powerful way for various reasons. Minstrels are not only within the broad mass of the society that is experiencing the cultural change to a great extent, but also as a representative of tradition they are experiencing the tradition-modern struggle in the modern period. Therefore, their observations will provide detailed data on the subject. This study is divided into two parts as reading the cultural change in the society through the eyes of the minstrels and the changes and transformations encountered by the minstrelsy tradition in this period. In the first part, the dynamics that bring about change and the areas where change is effective in society are tried to be discerned. In the second part, it is tried to be seen through the issues of change in tradition,performer, performance context, the effect of product and tradition on society. Thus, on the one hand, for the studies conducted in the field of cultural change, alternative perspectives will be developed with the view of those who observe this situation closely. On the other hand, at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, the minstrel tradition will be tried to be seen and data will be obtained on how to shape the continuation of the tradition.
