Türk Romanında Mete Han ,Attilâ ve Cengiz Han

Abstract

Türk tarihini yakından ilgilendiren Mete Han, Attilâ ve Cengiz Han ile ilgili 2000’li yıllara kadar çok az sayıda roman yayımlanmıştır. İslamiyet öncesi dönem hakkındaki romanların ilk örneklerinden birisi Peyami Safa’nın Attilâ’sı olmuştur. Bu romandan sonra İslamiyet öncesi Türk tarihini ele alan romanların sayısında giderek bir artış meydana gelmiştir. Özellikle 2000’li yıllardan sonra Türk romancıları tarafından Mete Han, Attilâ ve Cengiz Han gibi Türk tarihini yakından ilgilendiren hükümdarlar hakkında yazılan romanların sayısında bir artış meydana gelmiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında özellikle Türklüğü konusunda tartışmalar bulunan Mete Han, Attilâ ve Cengiz Han hakkındaki romanlar ele alınmıştır. Bu isimlerin bir arada ele alınmasının temel sebebi olarak Türklük meselesi göz önünde bulunduruluştur. Çalışmanın malzemesi toplandıktan sonra bu üç isim arasında dinî inanç, yaşam biçimi, askerî ve siyasi karakter bakımından da benzerlikler olduğu ve Türk romancılarının bu üç ismi benzer bir yaklaşım ile ele aldıkları görülmüştür. Bu çalışmada öncelikle Mete Han, Attilâ ve Cengiz Han’ın yaşam öyküleri ve yaşadıkları dönem hakkında bilgi verilmiş, daha sonra Türk romanında Mete Han Attilâ ve Cengiz Han’ı ele alan eserlerin serüvenine değinilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmada Mete Han, Attilâ ve Cengiz Han’ı başarılı kılan liderlik vasıflarının sırları üzerinde durulmuş ve onların aralarındaki ortaklıkların Türk romancıları tarafından nasıl ele alındığına yönelik bir tematik inceleme yapılmıştır ve incelemelerden elde edilen veriler yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda belirlenen temalar ile yapılan incelemeler sonucunda Türk romancılarının Mete Han, Attilâ ve Cengiz Han karakterlerini genel anlamda Türklüğe hizmet eden, Gök Tanrı inancına bağlı ve göçebe kültürün etkisinde yetişmiş, kadına karşı saygılı, törelerine ve geleneklerine bağlı yüksek askerî ve siyasi karaktere sahip liderler olarak ele aldıkları görülmüştür.

Mete Han, Attilâ, and Genghis Khan, who closely related in Turkish history, very few novels have been published until the 2000s. One of the first examples of novels about pre-Islamic period was Peyami Safa's Attila. After this novel, there has been an increase in the number of novels dealing with pre-Islamic Turkish history. Especially after 2000s, the rulers such as Mete Khan, Attilâ and Genghis Khan who are of particular concern to Turkish history there has been an increase in the number of novels written by Turkish novelists. Within the scope of this study, have addressed novels which is about Mete Han, Attilâ and Genghis Khan, which have debated about Turkishness in particular. Turkishness issue was taken into consideration as the main reason why these names are addressed together. After the material of the study was collected, it was found that there were similarities between religious beliefs, life style, military and political character among these three names and it was seen that Turkish novelists have treated these three names with a similar approach. In this study, first of all, information about the life stories of Mete Khan, Attilâ and Genghis Khan and the period in which they lived has been given, and then the adventure of the works in Turkish novel that deal with Mete Khan Attilâ and Genghis Khan has been touched on. In addition, the secrets of leadership qualities that made Mete Khan, Attilâ and Genghis Khan successful were studied and a thematic study was conducted about how the partnerships between them were handled by Turkish novelists, and the data obtained from the studies are tried to be interpreted. As a result of investigations made with the themes determined in this direction it was seen that Turkish novelists consider Mete Han, Attila and Cengiz Khan characters as the leaders with high military and political characteristics who are dependent on their respectful customs and traditions against women who have grown under the influence of nomadic culture and depending on the tengrism who serve the Turkishness in general.
