Kentsel Yoksulluk: Sivas İli Örneği

Abstract

Yoksulluk, gelir seviyesi ne düzeyde olursa olsun bütün ülkenin karşı karşıya olduğu ekonomik unsurlardan biridir. Yoksulluk, kavramı barındırdığı dinamik ve göreli unsurlardan dolayı tanımlanması güç bir kavramdır. Fikir birliğine varılmış bir tanımını yapılamamaktadır. Yoksulluğun zamanla çeşitlenmesi ve küreselleşme ile birlikte kentleşme sürecinin hız kazanması neticesinde kentsel yoksulluk daha belirgin hale gelmiş gereksinimler sadece ekonomik olmaktan çıkıp, sosyal kültürel gereksinimlerin de giderilmesi olarak değerlendirilmeye başlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, yoksulluğun kavramsal çerçevesi, ölçüm yöntemleri ve kentsel yoksulluk kavramı Türkiye açısından açıklanmakta özellikle kentsel yoksulluğun Sivas’ta kentsel yaşam üzerindeki etkileri inceleme konusunu oluşturmaktadır.

Poverty is one of the economic reasons facing the whole country, regardless of the income level. Poverty is a concept that is difficult to define due to the dynamic and relative elements it contains. It is not possible to make a consensus definition. Urban poverty has become more evident as the poverty diversifies over time and the process of urbanization accelerates with globalization. The requirements are not only economic but also social and cultural needs. In this context, study, conceptual framework of the poverty measurement methods and concepts are explained in terms of urban poverty in Turkey is particularly effects on the subject of scrutiny in Sivas city life and urban poverty.
