Medineli Hacı Osman Akfırat Efendi'nin Hayatı, Eserleri ve Tasavvufî Görüşleri

Abstract

Tezin konusu, Medine’de Ravza-i Mutahhara yakınlarında Zeravan mahallesinde 1301/1884 yılında dünyaya gelen, 10 Ekim 1967 yılında İstanbul/Beykoz’da ebedî âleme irtihal eden, üstün ahlâkıyla temayüz etmiş birisi olarak Kur’an hâfızlığı ve medrese eğitimiyle öne çıkan, fıkıh, tefsir, hadis, siyer, akâid ve tasavvuf gibi dinî ilimlere vâkıf olan, şeriata sımsıkı bağlı kalan, tarihimizin yakın dönemine ilmî ve tasavvufî kişiliği ile unutulmayacak tesirler bırakan ve aynı zamanda ilmiyle âmil ender şahsiyetlerden birisi olan Hacı Osman Akfırat’ın hayatı, eserleri ve tasavvufî görüşleridir. Tez çalışmamız, girişle birlikte üç bölümden meydana gelmektedir. Giriş bölümünde araştırmanın konusu ile kaynakların değerledirilmesi ve 20. yüzyılda tarikatların durumu ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölüm Akfırat’ın hayatına tahsis edilmiş olup, onun doğumu ve hayatı, eğitimi, eserleri, vefatı, sosyal etkinliği ve tavsiyeleri, tarikat anlayışı işlenmiş, ayrıca bu bölümde Nakşibendiyye tarikatına ve onun kollarından olan Hâlidiyye’ye yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Akfırat’ın tasavvufî görüşleri ana başlığı adı altında ibadet, ahlâk ve seyr-ü sülûkle alâkalı tahalluk kavramları, tahakkuka dair kavramlar ile tasavvufî meseleler incelemeye tâbi tutulmuştur. Sonuç bölümünde ise genel bir değerlendirme yapılarak faydalanılan kaynaklar kaynakçada belirtilmiştir. Ayrıca ekler bölümüyle de tezimizin desteklenip takviye edilmesi ve zenginleştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Takvâdan ve samimiyetten ödün vermeden İslâmî bir yaşam tarzını düstur edinen Akfırat, dinin zâhirî hükümlerine bağlı kalmaktan asla tâviz vermemiştir. Kur’an ve sünnete uymayan, zâhirle çatışan, bâtını sapıtararak bâtıla kayan sahte şeyhlerle etkin bir mücadele içerisinde olan Akfırat, sahte tarikatlar ve sahte şeyhler ile olan mücadelesini ortaya koyup onların sapık düşüncelerini ve yanlışlarını açığa çıkararak tarikatlarda ihtilâflı ve anlaşılamayan kapalı yönleri izah etmeye çalışmıştır. Bu yolda Akfırat Kur’an ve sünnetten ilham alıp tarikat büyüklerinin de menhecinden ve hayatlarından esinlenerek takip edilmesi gereken doğru yol neyse, onun beyanı için gayret göstermiştir.

The subject of the thesis is the life, sufistic opinions and works of Hacı Osman Akfirat, who was born in the Zerevan Neighborhood near Ravza-ı Mutahhara in Medinah in 1301/1884; passed away on October 10, 1967 in Beykoz/İstanbul; known with his superior moral sense, having full knowledge on Islamic law, interpretation of Quran, hadith, prophetic biography, akaid, and Islamic philosophy with his madrasah education; was attached to the sharia tightly; standing out with his hafizness of Quran; leaving unforgettable traces for the recent history with his scientific and sufistic personality and also being one of the rare people with his knowledge. Our thesis consists of three sections, including the introduction part. In the introduction, the subject of the research, evaluation of the references and the state of the tariqas in the 20th century were addressed. The first part was devoted to the life Osman Akfirat; his birth, life, education, works, death, memories, opinions towards tariqas were examined; and also, the Naqshbandi tariqa and one of its branches Halidiyye were mentioned. In the second part, under the title of Osman Akfirat's sufistic ideas, the notions of religious services, morality and tahalluk (being equipped with morality) related to the seyr-ü sülük; the concepts regarding tahalluk on conscientious, moral, ingenuity and knowledge; the issues of Sufistic philosophy and the Sufistic issues related to issues of Sufism’s action were addressed. In the conclusion part, a general evaluation was made, and the resources used were stated in the references. In addition, our thesis was supported and enriched with the appendix section. Making his principle the İslamic life without compromising on taqwa and sincerity, Osman Akfirat never made any concession from the virtual provisions of the religion. Being in an active battle with fake sheikhs who did not follow the sunnahs and the Quran, conflicts with virtue, and moving from the secret truth to the superstitious, Akfırat tried to explain the controversial and incomprehensible aspects of tariqas by disclosing the deviant thoughts and mistakes of the fake sheikhs. In this course, Akfırat made an effort to show the true path to be followed, being inspired by Quran and Sunnah, and the life and tracks of tariqa elders.
