İbrahim B. Halil El-Ca’berî (Ö.732-1332)’Nin Hayatı Ve El-Meded Fî Marifeti’l-Aded İsimli Eserinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Kur’an-ı Kerim’deki ayet sayısının 6666 aded olduğuna dair yaygın kanaat bulunmaktadır. Konuyla ilgili farklı nakiller mevcut olmakla birlikte bu sayı mevcut mushaftaki ayet sayısı ile çelişmektedir. Ayetlerin ve sûrelerin başlangıç ve bitiş yerlerini tespit etmeyi amaçlayarak ayet adedi hususunda kaynaklardaki rivayetler ışığında doğmuş olan ilim, aded ilmi (addü’l-ây) dir. Bu çalışma da aded ilmi çerçevesinde hazırlanmıştır. Üç bölüm halinde hazırlanan çalışmanın birinci bölümünde aded ilmi sahasında çalışma yapan âlimlerimizden İbrahim b. Halil el-Ca’berî’nin hayatı, eğitimi, ilmi şahsiyeti ve eserleri günümüze tanıtılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Ulûmu’l-Kur’an ve Aded İlmi tanımlanıp her iki kavramın konusu, amacı ve bu hususlarda yapılan çalışmalar zikredilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise çalışmanın ana konusuna ışık tutan, Ca’berî’nin Hüsnü’l-Meded Fî Ma’rifeti Fenni’l-Aded isimli eserinde ele aldığı konular başlıklandırılıp sonuca varılmıştır.

The number the verses in the Holy Qur’an is widely accepted as 6666. Although there are different narrations on the subject, this number contradicts the number the verses in the Qur’an. The ilma’l-adad (aded ilmi) aims to determine the beginning and the end of the verses and surahs. This science was born in the light of the narrations in the sources regarding the number of verses. This study has been prepared on the subject of ilma’l-adad. This study has three chapters. In the first chapter, the life, education, scientific personality and works of Ibrahim b. Halil al-Ca’berî are introduced. In the second chapter, the concepts of Ulûmu’l-Qur’an and ilma’l-adad are defined and the subject, purpose and studies of these concepts are montioned. In the third part, the subjects that Ca’berî has worked on in his book Husnü’l-Meded Fî Ma’rifeti Fenni’l-Adedwhich shed light on the main subject of the study, are discussed and the result is represented.
