Türkiye’de Kadın İstihdamının Tarihçesi Ve Kadın İstihdamını Artırmak İçin Yürütülen Politikalar
Abstract
Sürdürülebilir kalkınma çabalarının en önemli amaçlarından biri, kadınların iş
gücü piyasasına katılımını artırmaktır. Bu yüksek lisans tezi, Türkiye'deki kadın
istihdamının tarihi gelişimine ve kadın istihdamını artırmaya yönelik politikalara yeni
bilgiler sağlayarak katkıda bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikle kadın iş gücü ve
istihdamına ilişkin teoriler açıklanmaktadır ve kadın istihdamının tarihsel gelişimi analiz
edilmektedir. Eğitim, yaş, medeni durum, cinsiyetler arası ücret düzeyi farklılıkları gibi
kadın istihdamını etkileyen faktörlere değinilmektedir.
Sunulan bu çalışmada, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu’ndan (TUİK) varılan istatistiki
verilere dayanılarak Türkiye’de kadın istihdamının yapısal durumu ile ilgili bilgiler
verilmektedir. Türkiye’de kadın istihdamını çoğaltmaya özgü ulusal ayrıca uluslararası
mevzuata çalışmada yer verildikten sonra, Kadın Statüsü ve Sorunları Genel
Müdürlüğü’nün (KSGM), Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, SGK, İŞKUR vb.
kurum ve kuruluşların bu yönde hayata geçirdikleri projeler incelenmektedir. One of the most important objectives of sustainable development efforts is to
increase women’s participation in the labor market. This master’s thesis is contributing
to the historical development of female employment in Turkey and on policies to
increase women’s employment by providing new information. In this study primarily,
theories on female labor force and employment are explanied and the historical
development of the female employment is analyzed. Therefore, factors such as
education, age, marital status, gender differences in wage level are discussed.
In this study, informantions are given about structural situation of women
employment in Turkey based on statistical data obtained from Turkish Statistical
Institute (TUSI). The study was discussed about the national and international legislation
aimed to increasing female, employment occurred in Turkey. For this study, the projects
implemented by the General Directorate of Woman’s Status and Problems (GDWSP),
Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MLSS), Social Security Institution (SSI) and
Employmen Agency (EA) have also been examined.
