Ortaöğretim Öğrencilerinin Müzik Beğeni Ve Tercihlerinin Çeşitli Değişkenler Yönünden İncelenmesi (Sivas/Zara Örneği)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada; Sivas’ın Zara İlçesi’nde bulunan M.E.B.’e bağlı dört farklı lise türünde 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin müziksel beğenileri ve tercihlerinin; okul türü, cinsiyet, gelir düzeyi, öğrenim gördüğü sınıf düzeyi, ailelerinden, kitle iletişim araçlarından, arkadaş gruplarından ve sosyal çevrelerinden etkilenme durumları gibi çeşitli değişkenler göz önünde bulundurularak incelenmesi ve karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Verileri elde etmek için 19 sorudan oluşan “Müzik Tercihleri Anket Formu” düzenlenmiş olup, söz konusu anket dört farklı okulda toplamda 727 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Anket oluşturulurken daha önce ilgili konuda yapılan çalışmaların literatür taraması yapılarak incelenmiş ve istatistik uzmanı aracılığı ile anketin güvenilirliği sağlanmıştır. Uygulanan anketten elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programıyla çözümlenmiş olup, frekans, yüzde, Mann Whitney-U ve Kruskall Wallis testleri uygulanarak araştırmanın bulguları yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; öğrencilerin müzik dinleme aracı olarak en çok cep telefonu kullandıklarını, öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğunun konser, dinleti, koro çalışması vb. müziksel etkinliklere katılmadıklarını ifade ettikleri gözlemlenmektedir. Öğrencilerin dinlemeyi tercih ettikleri müzikler konusunda ailelerinden, arkadaş çevrelerinden, kitle iletişim araçlarından ve okulda verilen müzik derslerinden etkilenmedikleri, genellikle dinlenmek ve rahatlamak amacıyla müzik dinlemeyi tercih ettikleri araştırmanın diğer önemli bulgularındandır. Yapılan karşılaştırmalar sonucunda erkek öğrencilerin kız öğrencilere göre Türk Halk Müziği, Türk Sanat Müziği ve Arabesk-Fantezi müziği daha fazla tercih ettiği görülmektedir. Kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre Türkçe Pop, Rock-Anadolu Rock ve Yabancı Pop Müzik türünü daha fazla tercih ettikleri gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmış ve bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda çözüm önerileri getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

In this search, it is targeted to analyze and compare musical tastes and preferences of students who have been studying in four different types of high school affiliated to National Education Ministry during 2016-2017 academic year in Zara, district of Sivas, by taking into account such variances as gender, level of income, grade of school, and influence that they get from their families, media, friends and social circles. “Musical Preferences Questionnaire”, consisting 19 questions, was prepared and applied on 727 students in four different types of school. Throughout preparation process of the questionnaire, literature survey had been conducted on the studies carried before about the same topic and reliability of the questionnaire had been ensured with the help of statistician. Data obtained from the questionnaire which had been used were analyzed and findings of the search were interpreted by applying frequency, percentage, Mann, Whitney-U and Kruskal-Wallis tests. As a result of the search, students stated that they use cell phones most to listen to music and the majority of the students don’t attend such musical activities as concert, audition, chorus exercises, etc. The fact that the students are not influenced by their families, social circles, friends, musical courses at school and media in terms of the music they prefer and that they generally prefer listening to music in order to relax and ease are among the other findings of the search. As a consequence of comparisons made, it is observed that male students prefer Turkish Folk Music, Turkish Classical Music and Arabesque-Extravaganza Music more in comparison with female students. Such results are observed as female students prefer Turkish Pop, Rock- Anatolian Rock and Foreign Pop music types more in comparison with male students and in the light of these results, it is tried to offer solution.
