Diyaliz hastalarında yaşam kalitesinin değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
This study has been done to measure the guality of life in dialysis patient and the factors which effect this quality. Study has been done on 102 patients which 78 of them vere treatened by hemodialysis (HD) and 24 of them were treatened by continous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). in the study the Scale of SF-36 (RAND-36-ltem Health Survey 1.0) which was developed by WARE, and the Patient lnterview Form (developed by the researchers) were used. The statistical analysis of the results of the study has been done by the reseachers via SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program. 56,9 percent of the patients or over, 76,5 percent of them were (78 patient) have been treated by hemodialysis. in the study, guality of life in the dialysis patients have been found out under average (42.47 ± 27.13). in our study we found out a relationship among the patients' ages, their life areas (city or village), their education levels, whether they were working or not (p < 0.05) ; but there was not any important relationship among marital status, sex, dialysis periods or frequency and the guality of life in dialysis patients (p < 0.05). it was found out that the dialysis type has considerable influence on couality of life in dialysis patient. ii was also found out that the patients who have been treatened by hemodialysis had worse quaüty of life than the patients who have been treatened by continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis.
