Tip II diabetes mellitusta nefropati gelişiminde risk faktörleri

Abstract

Diabetik nefropati gelişmesinde hiperglisemi, hipertansiyon, hiperlipidemi bilinen risk faktörleridir. Biz çalışmamızda tip 2 diabetik hastalarda diabetik nefropati gelişimi ile ilişkili diğer risk faktörlerini araştırmayı amaçladık. Bu amaçla randomize seçilen tip 2 diabetik 100 hastada yaş, diabet süresi, HbAIc düzeyi ve obezitenin diabetik nefropati gelişmesindeki etkisini değerlendirdik. Sonuçlarımızda yüksek HbAIc düzeyi, diabet süresi ve hasta yaşının diabetik nefropati gelişiminde risk faktörü olduğunu saptadık. Bu nedenle 55 yaş üzeri, 10 yıl üzerinde diabet anamnezi olan, kan şekeri regülasyonu bozuk hastalarda sık aralıklarla idrarda albumin bakılmasını öneriyoruz.

Hyperglicemia, hypertension and hyperlipidemia are well known risk factors for diabetic nephropathy. We aimed at searching other possible risk factors related to diabetic nephropathy. We included 100 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the study to evaluate the effects of age, disease duration, HbAIc levels and obesity in development of diabetic nephropathy. Our results revealed that high HbAIc levels, diabetes duration and age of the patient were consituting risk factors for diabetic nephropathy. In conclusion, we suggest that frequent evaluation of albumin in urine analysis should be performed in those diabetes patients with poor regulated glucose levels, with disease duration longer than 10 years and with older age.
