Subklavyan çalma sendromu tedavisinde perkütan translüminal anjiyoplasti: Erken dönem sonuçlarımız

Abstract

Amaç: Subklavyan çalma sendromu tedavisinde perkütan translüminal anjiyoplastinin etkinliğini değerlendirmektir. Materyal ve Metod: Subklavyan arterde vertebral arter ayrışım yeri öncesi belirgin stenozu olan altı hastaya sol üst ekstremite istirahat veya efor ağrısı nedeniyle perkütan translüminal anjiyoplasti uygulandı. Bulgular: Hastalarda lezyon sol vertebral arterde kan akış yönünün tersine dönmesine neden olmaktaydı . Tüm hastalarda selektif sol subklavyan anjiyografi, vertebral arter ayrışım yeri öncesi stenozu gösterdi. Sonuç: Perkütan translüminal anjiyoplasti, subklavyan çalma sendromu tedavisinde güvenilir ve etkin bir yöntem olup bu tip lezyonların tedavisinde seçilmesi gereken ilk yöntem olmalıdır.

Backgrounds: To evaluate the usefulness of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty in the treatment of subclavian steal syndrome. Methods: Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty was performed on six patients with severe left subclavian artery stenosis proximal to the origin of the vertebral artey for upper extremity claudication. Results: In our cases , reversal of blood flow was caused through the left vertebral artery due to the lesion . In all six patients , selective left subclavian angiography showed stenosis proximal to the origin of the vertebral artey. Conclusions: Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty of the subclavian artery is a safe and effective method in the treatment of subclavian steal syndromes and should be considered as the treatment of choice.
