Mekanistik İktisadi Zihniyetin Eleştirisi

Abstract

Mekanistik iktisadî anlayış, iktisadî olguları tarihî ve kültürel bağlamlarından kopartarak basitleştirmiştir. Basitleştirilen bilgiler, sınırlı bir zaman ve mekana bağımlı olmasına rağmen, bütün toplum ve çağlara geçerli şemalar haline getirilmiştir. Oluşturulan tarihî şemaya uyacak insan tipi de "iktisadî insan" soyutlaması ile Ortodoks iktisat doktrininin merkezine yerleştirilmiştir. Günümüze kadar yapılan iktisat çalışmaları, ortodoks iktisat anlayışını, aşılmaz, yaygın ve avamî bir zihniyet haline döndürmüştür. Çalışmamız mekanistik anlayış çerçevesinde gelişen bu süreci analize yöneliktir.

The mechanistic understanding of economics has torn economical phenomena apart from their historical and cultural connections and simplified them. The simplified pieces of knowledge, in spite of their being limited to a particular space and time, were converted into schemas and declared to be valid for all societies and ages. The human type who shall fit in this constructed historical schema was connoted with the abstraction "economic man" (homo economicus) and was placed in the center of the orthodox economic doctrine. The studies in economics up to our time have transformed this doctrine into a mentality which is supposed to be insuperable due to its widespread popularity. Our study aims to analyze this process which developed within the frame of the mechanistic worldview.
