Sınıf II restorasyonlarda üç farklı restoratif materyal ile restore edilen dişlerin kırılma dayanıklılığı

Abstract

Amaç: Üç farklı restoratif materyal ile restore edilen dişlerin kırılma dayanıklılığını karşılaştırmaktır. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmada ortodontik amaçla çekilen 50 adet çürüksüz üst premolar diş kullanıldı. Bu dişler her bir grupta 10'ar adet olmak üzere 5 gruba ayrıldı. Grup l'deki dişlere herhangi bir işlem yapılmadı. Grup 2,3,4,5 içinde yer alan dişlere standart meziookluzal (MOD) kaviteler açıldı. Grup 2'de yer alan prepare edilmiş dişler restore edilmeden bırakılırken, grup 3'de ki dişler amalgam ile, grup 4'de ki dişler Definite ile, grup 5'de ki dişler ise P60 ile restore edildi. Tüm dişler Universal Test Makinesine yerleştirildi ve oklüzal yüzeyden dişe kırılana kadar kuvvet uygulandı. Elde edilen veriler Kruskal Wallis Testi ve Bonferroni Düzeltmeli Man- Whitney U Testi ile değerlendirildi. Bulgular : Grup 1 ile 2 arasındaki fark, grup 2 ile 4,5 arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Grup l ile 3,4,5 arasındaki farkla, grup 2 ile 3, grup 3 ile 4, grupS ile 5 ve grup 4 ile 5 arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak önemsiz bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Sağlam dişlerin kırılma dirençleri ile amalgam, ormoser esaslı ve packable kompozit rezin materyalleri ile restore edilen dişlerin kırılma dirençleri karşılaştırıldığında istatistiksel olarak önemli bir fark bulunmamıştır. Prepare edilmiş restorasyonsuz dişlerin kırılma dirençleri ile amalgamla restore edilen dişlerin kırılma dirençleri arasında fark önemsizken, ormoser esaslı ve packable kompozit rezin materyali ile restore edilen dişlerin kırılma dirençleri arasında fark önemli bulunmuştur. Amalgam, ormoser esaslı ve packable kompozit rezin materyali ile restore edilen dişlerin kırılma dirençleri arasında önemli bir fark bulunamamıştır.

Objective: To compare fracture resistance of teeth restored with three different restorative materials. Material and Method: Fifty human maxillary premolar teeth withous caries extracted for as a part of orthodontic treatment were used. The teeth were then randomly divided into five groups of 10 teeth each. In the first group were intact teeth. The reamining four groups of teeth were made in standardized MOD. prepared in the teeth of groups 2 Group 2, prepared, unrestored teeth; group 3 prepared teeth restored with amalgam; group 4 prepared teeth restored with Definite, group 5 prepared teeth restored with P 60. The teeth were mounted in a Universal Test Machine and the occlusall were subjected to a slowly increasing compressive force until fracture occurred. The means of force required to fracture the teeth in each of the five groups was analyzed using Kruskal Wallis Test and Bonferroni Corrected Mann -Whitney U Test. Results: There were significant difference between group 1 and 2, or among group 2 and 4,5. There were no significant difference among group 1 and 3,4,5 or between group 2 and 3, between groupS and 4, between group 3 and 5, between group 4 and 5. Conslusion Accroding to these test the difference between the teeth with not cavity and the teeth cavity was important. But the difference between the teeth restored with amalgam, Definite and P60 were not important. The difference between the teeth prepared but not restored with any material and the teeth restored with amalgam was not important. The difference between the teeth prepared but not restored with any material and the teeth restored with Definite and P60 were important. The differences between the teeth restored with amalgam, P60 and Definite were not important.
