Bir ilköğretim okulu öğrencilerinin bir yıl arayla ektoparazitler yönünden yeniden taranması

Abstract

Sivas köylerinden birinin ilköğretim okullarına devam eden öğrenciler bir yıl arayla Pediculus türleri, özellikle de Pediculus capitis varlığı yönünden yeniden tarandı. Taramada her öğrencinin başı ve giysilerinin yaka kısımları çıplak gözle incelendi, inceleme esnasında saç tellerinde, deride ve giysilerde (önlük, iç çamaşırı gibi) saptanan bulgular değerlendirildi. Çalışmada 197'si erkek, 169'u kız olmak üzere toplam 366 öğrenci tarandı. Bunlardan ikisinde (hepsi kız) (%0,54) Pediculus capitis yumurtası (sirke) ve/veya erişkini bulunurken, 28'i erkek 36'sı kız olan 64 öğrencinin (%17,4) giysisinde pire izlerine rastlandı. Öğrencilerin hiç birinde Pediculus corporis yumurtası veya erişkini görülmedi.

The students of the primary schools in a village of Sivas were screened for a second time for Pediculus spp., especially for Pediculus capitis after a one year interval. The hair, scalp and collars of the clothes of each student were inspected for the eggs, nymphs or adults, of head and body lice. A total of 366 students (197 boys and 169 girls) were inspected and we found either eggs or adults of Pediculus capitis only in two girls. Signs of fleas on the necks of undershirts of 64 students (28 boys and 36 girls) were seen. We found no Pediculus corporis eggs, nymphs or adults in any of the students.
