Akciğer difüzyon kapasitesinde standartlar

Abstract

Karbonmonoksit difüzyon kapasitesine aynı zamanda transfer faktör de denilmektedir. Akciğerin difüzyon kapasitesinin öl­çülmesinde en yaygın kullanılan teknik tek-nefes yöntemidir. Bununla beraber işlemden kabul edilebilir sonuçlar alınabil­mesi teknik uzmanlık ve işlemle ilgili detaylara dikkat edilmesine bağlıdır. Düzenek doğru bir şekilde kalibre edilmeli, in-halasyon vital kapasitenin %90'nından fazla olmalı, nefes tutma zamanı 9-11 saniye, düzgün bir ekshalasyon 4 saniye için­de yapılmalıdır. Biz bu yazımızda tekniğin standardizasyonundan bahsediyoruz.

The carbon monoxide diffusing capacity is also called transfer factor. The single-breath method is the most widely used technique to measure the pulmonary diffusing capacity. However, it requires technical expertise and attention to details about the procedure to get acceptable results. The instrument must be correctly calibrated, the inhalation is more than 90% of vital capacity, the breath-hold time is 9-11 seconds, and smooth exhalation within 4 seconds. In this paper, we discuss the standardization of this technique.
