Farklı preparasyon teknikleri kullanımı sonrası apikalden taşan materyallerin in vitro karşılaştırılması
Abstract
Amaç: Bu çalışmada, farklı tekniklerle (ProTaper, Quantec LX, ProFile .04 & .06, ProFile GT ve Step-back) yapılan kök kanal preparasyonu sırasında apikalden taşan debris ve irri-gasyon solüsyonu miktarlarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. Gereç ve Yöntem: 90 adet çekilmiş tek köklü insan mandibular premolar dişi seçildi ve her biri 18 dişten oluşan 5 gruba ayrıl¬dı. Grup 1-4'te kök kanalları ProTaper, Quantec LX, ProFile .04' & -06, ve ProFile GT döner alet sistemleri kullanılarak prepare edildi. Beşinci grup ise, H-tipi paslanmaz çelik aletler ile step-back tekniği kullanılarak prepare edildi. Her kanalda standart miktarda irrigasyon solüsyonu kullanıldı. Aim: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the amount of debris and irrigation solution extruded apically during different root canal preparation techniques (ProTaper, Quantec LX, ProFile .04 & .06, ProFile GT and Step-back). Material and Methods: Ninety extracted single rooted human mandibular premolar teeth were selected and divided into 5 groups of 18 each. From groups 1 to 4, root canals were prepared with ProTaper, Quantec LX, ProFile .04 & .06, and ProFile GT rotary preparation systems. The fifth group was prepared with H-type stainless steel files using the step-back technique. A standard amount of irrigant was used for each canal. Apically-extruded debris and irrigant were collected and weighed. The amount of extruded debris and irrigant was statistically analysed using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney-U tests. Results: There were statistically significant differences in the amount of debris and irrigant extruded apically among all groups (p<0.05). Overall, the techniques were extruded debris and irrigant apically. Conclusion: None'of the used technique was totally effective in preventing the apically extrusion of intracanal materials during root canal preparation.
