Wormian kemiğe bağlı kapalı fontanel: olgu sunumu.

Abstract

bebeklerde fontanel muayenesi ve baş çevresi izlemi önemli bir noktadır. fontanel ve sütürlerin erken kapanması nörolojik anormalliklere yol açabilir. fontaneli kapalı, baş çevresi büyüme hızı ve fizik muayenesi normal olan bir bebekte, fontanelde wormian kemiğin bulunumasının normalin bir varyantı olabileceği de unutulmamalıdır. bu yazıda fontanelde wormian kemik oluşumu izlenen bir olgu sunulmuştur.

An assessment of fontanels and monitoring of head cimcumference are important in infants. Early closure of the fontanels and sutures can cause neurological anomalies. Wormian bone, which is anormal variation, should be kept in mind in infants whose fontanel is closed but the increase of head circumference and physical examination is normal. Herein we report a case of infant presented with closed fontanel due to Wormian bone and want to emphasize the importance of the subject.
