SAĞLIK PROFESYONELLERİNİN EKİP ÇALIŞMASINA İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu çalışmanın amacı sağlık profesyonellerinin ekip çalışmasına ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Çalışmanın evren ve örneklemini Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Hastanesinde çalışan tüm profesyonel sağlık çalışanları (N= 746) oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri, 9-20 Ekim 2006 tarihleri arasında "Ekip Yaklaşımı Formu" ve "Sağlık profesyonellerinin Ekip Çalışmasında hekimin Rolü ile İlgili Yaygın Görüşleri"ni kapsayan soru formları ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılanların %45,8'i hekim, %46,7'si hemşiredir. Çalışmada, hemşirelerin ekip çalışmasının yararları, etkin ekibin özellikleri ve ekip çalışmasını olumsuz etkileyen faktörler konularındaki puan ortalamaları hekimlere göre daha yüksektir (p<0.001). Hekimlerin %75,2'sinin, hemşirelerin %6,6'sının "Ekibin lideri her zaman hekimdir" ifadesine katıldıkları saptanmıştır (p<0.001). "Ekip üyelerinin temel amacı doktora yardım etmektir" ifadesine hekimlerin %58,4'ü katıldığını belirtirken, bu oran hemşirelerde %7,4'tür (p<0.001). Araştırmada hekimlerin büyük çoğunluğunun ekip çalışması konusunda, geleneksel bir anlayışta oldukları saptanmıştır. (Pam Tıp Derg 2009;2(2):54-61)

The aim of this descriptive study is to reveal the views of the healthcare professionals about teamwork. The sample of this study contained all healthcare professionals who work at the Cumhuriyet University Hospital (N=746). Data were collected between 9-20 October 2006. Data collection tools were the &quot;Team Approach Form&quot; and a form regarding &quot;Common Views of Health Care Providers About the Role of Doctors in Teamwork&quot;. The participants consisted of 46,7% nurses, 45,8% doctors. In this study, the mean point of nurses about the benefit of teamwork, the features of effective teams and the factors that affect team negatively was higher than the doctors. In total 75,2% of the doctors and 6,6% of the nurses agreed that &quot;The team leader is always a doctor&quot; (p&lt;0.001). Similarly 58,4% of the doctors and 7,4% of the nurses agreed that &quot;The main purpose of the team members is to help the doctor&quot; (p&lt;0.001). It is stated that doctors' views on teamwork are generally traditional (Pam Med J 2008;2(2):54-61)
