Yetişkinlere yönelik su kullanımı anketi’nin geliştirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yetişkinlerin su kullanımına yönelik tutum ve davranışını ölçen bir ölçme aracı geliş- tirmektir. Bu amaçla Tutum ve Davranış olmak üzere iki alt ölçekten oluşan Su kullanımı Anketi (SKA) hazırlan- mıştır. Başlangıçta 28 maddeden oluşan SKA-Tutum ve 24 maddeden oluşan SKA-Davranış alt ölçekleri rastge- le örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 109 kişiye uygulanmış- tır. SKA’nın yapı geçerliğini belirlemek amacıyla açıklayı- cı faktör analizi (AFA) uygulanmıştır. AFA sonuçlarına göre SKA-Tutum alt ölçeği iki faktörlü bir yapıya sahip- ken, SKA-Davranış alt ölçeği tek faktörlü bir yapıdadır. Belirlenen boyutların güvenirliliklerini belirlemek amacıy- la yapılan madde toplam korelâsyonları sonuçlarına göre, 12 maddeden oluşan Su Kullanımı-Tutum alt ölçe- ğinin iç tutarlık katsayısı 0,82’dir. Su Kullanımı-Davranış alt ölçeği ise 13 maddeden oluşmaktadır ve ölçeğin iç tutarlık katsayısı 0,87 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Toplam puana göre belirlenmiş üst % 27 ve alt % 27’lik grupların madde puanları arasındaki farkın anlamlılığı için yapılan t testi sonuçlarından, farkların tüm maddeler için anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür. Toplam 25 madden oluşan SKA’nın cevaplanma süresi 20 dakika civarındadır. Geliştirilen SKA araştırmacıların suyla ilgili hem deneysel hem de tarama türü çalışmalarında kullanılabilir

The purpose of this study is to develop an instrument for measuring the attitudes and behaviors of adults’ towards water usage. For this purpose, Water Usage Questionnaire (WUQ) consisting of two subscales as attitudes and behaviors was prepared. The subscales of WUQ-Attitudes and WQU-Behavior which initially had 28 and 24 items respectively were analyzed by the data collected from 109 randomly selected adults. Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) was conducted for determining the structural validity of WUQ. According to the results of EFA, while the WUQ-Attitude subscale had two factors the WUQ-Behavior subscale had one factor. The item total correlations showed that WQU-Attitude subscale consisting of 12 items had internal reliability coefficient 0.82. The Water Usage-Behavior subscale consisting of 13 items had internal reliability coefficient of 0.87. The t-test analysis results for determining the significance of the differences between the scores of upper 27% and lower 27% groups defined by the total score showed that differences are significant for items. WUQ having 25 items in total takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. The developed WUQ may be used in both experimental and survey studies about water by researchers.
