Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının alan sınavına yönelik görüşlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; öğretmen adaylarının 2013 yılından itibaren uygulamaya konulan alan sınavına yönelik öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada ortaya çıkan bulgular yeni sistemdeki eksiklikleri tespit edilmesi yönünden önem arz etmektedir. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada katılımcılar; amaçlı örnekleme (Patton, 2014) yöntemlerinden homojen örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma Sivas ili Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği 4. sınıf öğrencileri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubu eğitim fakültesi öğrencisi olan 3’ü erkek 3’ü bayan olmak üzere 6 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın veri toplama aracı Yarı Yapılandırılmış Mülakat Formu’dur. Araştırma sürecinde tüm mülakatlar ses kayıt cihazıyla kayıt altına alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında 140 dakikalık mülakat yapılmış, ses kayıtları herhangi bir elemeye tabi tutulmadan, ham veri olarak Microsoft Word programına aktarılmıştır. Araştırmada her bir transkript, satır-satır analiz yaklaşımı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Mülakat verilerinin yorumlanması sürecinde endüktif betimsel analiz, içerik analizi ve sürekli karşılaştırma tekniği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucu: 1. alan sınavına ve içeriğine yönelik bulgular ve 2. alan sınavının geçerlik ve güvenirliğine yönelik bulgular olmak üzere iki tema belirlenmiştir. alan sınavı, kpss, öabt, öğretmen seçimi, öğretmen atamaları.

The aim of this study is to investigate the opinions of pre-service teachers regarding the field test that has been enforced as of 2013. The findings of this study are predicted to contribute to the implementation of the new system. The study was carried out pursuant to the design of case study method that is one of the qualitative research methods. Among the purposeful sampling methods, the Homogeneous sample method (Patton, 2014), was used in the study. The study was conducted with the 4th Grade students enrolled at Cumhuriyet University, Education Faculty, Social Studies Education, in Sivas. The sampling consisted of six students, three males and three females. In the research, semi- structured interview form was used as a data collection tool. All the interviews were recorded on a tape recorder throughout the research. A 140-minute interview was had within the scope of the research; the tape recordings were computerized through the Microsoft Word processing program as raw data without being subjected to any screening. Each transcript in the research were analyzed by using line by line analysis analysis approach. Inductive descriptive analysis, content analysis and the constant comparison technique were used in the interpretation of the interview data. As a result of analysis of the interview data, two major themes emerged; 1. Opinions on the field exam test and its contents. 2. Opinions on the v validity and reliability of the test.
