YENİ ANAYASA TARTIŞMALARI VE ZORUNLU DİN DERSLERİ

Abstract

Türkiye’de okullarda din derslerinin verilmesi konusu ile ilgili tartışmalar onun 19. Yüzyılın sonlarından itibaren değişim gösteren eğitim sistemi içinde müstakil bir branş oluşundan iti- baren başlamış ve günümüze kadar her dönemde devam etmiştir. Çalışmada Türkiye’de okulda din eğitiminin tarihi sürecine kısaca değinilerek yeni eğitim sisteminde seçmeli din dersleri ve yeni anayasa tartışmaları ışığında zorunlu din derslerinin gerekliliği tartışılmıştır.

Giving Religious Education Lessons in schools in Turkey, which started from within the changing education system and the occur- rence of an independent branch of religious education since the end of the 19th century in has been a controversial issue. In this article, firstly the short history of religious education in Turkey is mentioned. Then necessities of religious education are discussed in the light of discussions on a new constitution and new educa- tion system.
