CUMHURİYET ÜNİVERSİTESİ PERSONELİNİN ARAÇ KASKOSU İÇİN SİGORTA ŞİRKETİ SEÇİMİNİ ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLERİN DEMOGRAFİK DEĞİŞKENLERE GÖRE İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi’nde görev yapan personelin araç kaskosu yaptırırken sigorta şirketi seçimlerini etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenen değişkenlere göre incelenmesidir. Sigorta şirketi seçiminde en önemli kriter olarak kuşkusuz fiyat faktörü akla gelmektedir. Bu çalışma, fiyat dışında belirlenen diğer faktörlerin sigorta şirketi seçimindeki etkisini çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi’nde görev yapan 350 personele Günel (2017) tarafından geliştirilen ve sigorta şirketi seçimini etkileyen “Şirket İmkânları”, “Güvence”, “Acente Tavrı”, “Ek Teminatlar”, “Şirket Bilinirliği”, “Güven” ve “Kasko Deneyimi” şeklinde adlandırılan 7 alt faktörden oluşan ölçek uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde bağımsız gruplar için t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda sigorta şirketi seçimini etkilediği düşünülen şirket bilinirliği ve güven faktörleri hiçbir değişkene göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermezken, acentenin tavrı, şirket imkânları, güvence, ek teminatlar ve kasko deneyimi faktörleri ise çeşitli değişkenlere göre farklılık göstermektedir. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda üniversite personelinin araç kaskosu yaptırırken sigorta şirketi seçimlerinde en çok dikkate alınan faktörün ek teminatlar olduğu, bunu güvence ve acentenin tavrı faktörlerinin izlediği belirlenmiştir.

The purpose of the study is to examine the factors affecting the selection of the insurance company according to identified variables when Cumhuriyet University personel are engaged in car insurance. It comes to mind that the most important criterion in choosing an insurance company is, of course, the price factor. This study aims to examine the effect of other factors, which are determined outside the price, on the selection of the insurance company according to various variables. In this context, the scale which is developed by Günel (2017) and consists of 7 factors affecting the selection of the insurance company and named as "Company Facilities", "Assurance", "Agency Attitude", "Additional Guarantees", "Company Popularity", "Safety" and "Insurance Experience” was applied to 350 employees working at Cumhuriyet University. For the analysis of the obtained data, independent samples t-test and oneway variance analysis were used. As a result of the analyzes while the company popularity and safety factors that are thought to affect the selection of the insurance company do not show any significant difference according to any variables, the factors of company facilities, agency attitude, assurance, additional guarantees and insurance experience show significant differences. According to direction of these findings it has been determined that the factor of additional guarantees is the foremost factor when the university personel are engaged in car insurance and the factors of assurance and agency attitude follows it.
