TEVFİK FİKRET’İN ŞİİRLERİNDE DUYGULARIN “MÜŞAHHAS ÇEHRE” OLARAK TASVİRİ

Abstract

Tevfik Fikret, şair olmanın yanı sıra ressam olarak da tanınmaktadır ve man- zumelerinde her iki kimliğini de görmek mümkündür. O, şiirlerinde bazen bir portre, bazen bir tabiat manzarası çizer bazen de duyguları ve kavramları insan çehresinde resmeder. Resmi çizilen bu duygular ve kavramlar şairin psikolojisini yansıtır, şiir anlayışındaki değişiklikleri gösterir. Fikret’in şiirlerine böylesi bir dikkatle bakıldığında, ilk önce, “şefkat” ve “sefalet”in resmini görmek mümkündür ve şair bu yıllarda hayata ve olaylara duygularının penceresinden bakmaktadır. Tevfik Fikret, dış dünyayı eleştirel bir bakışla değerlendirdiği yıllarda toplumdaki “duygusuzluk” ve “duyarsızlık”ın resmini çizmiştir. II. Meşrutiyet’in ilanının ar- dından şair, gençliğe güvenini ve inancını dile getiren şiirler yazmış, “vatan”ı bir insan çehresinde somutlaştırarak gençlere emanet etmiştir. Meşrutiyet sonrasında devam eden haksızlık ve yanlışlıklar karşısında düşüncelerini dile getirmekten çekinmeyen Fikret, bütün bunlara sebep olan manevi açlığı yine insan çehresinde görmüştür.

Known as a poet, Tevfik Fikret is also recognized as a painter and it is possible to see his both identities in his poems. He sometimes draws a portrait or a landscape in his poems and sometimes paints emotions and concepts as human face. These painted emotions and concepts reflect the poet’s psychology and also the changes in the conception of his poetry. When the poems of Fikret are carefully examined, firstly it is possible to see the pictures of “compassion” and “poverty” and the poet sees life and events through his emotions. In the years that Tevfik Fikret interpreted outer life with a critical view, he portrayed the insensitivity and insensibility in the society. After the declaration of the Second Constitution, the poet wrote some poems expressing his hope and trust on the youth and entrusted the youth to the “country” which he personalized as a human portrait. Fikret, being not afraid to stand up to the unjustice and wrong issues, thought that the reason for the spiritual hunger was again in the human face.
