Türk Eğitim Tarihi Dersine Yönelik Öğretmen Adaylarının Tutumlarının Ölçülmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın genel amacı öğretmen adaylarının Türk Eğitim Tarihi dersine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla Likert tipi geçerli ve güvenilir bir tutum ölçeği geliştirmektir. Ölçek geliştirme sürecinde sırasıyla ölçülecek yapının tanımlanması, maddelerin yazılması, gözden geçirilmesi ve deneme formunun oluşturulması aşamasından sonra geçerlik güvenirlik kanıtlarının toplanması adımları izlenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda 25 maddeden oluşan dört bileşenli (Fayda, İlgi, Önem, Sevgi) TETTÖ (Türk Eğitim Tarihi Tutum Ölçeği) geliştirilmiştir. İkinci düzey doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda uyum iyiliği değerleri ölçeğin faktör yapısının tutarlı olduğunu ve iyi uyuma sahip olduğunu göstermiştir (?2/sd=1,53; RMSEA=0,05; TLI=0,98; CFI=0,98). Ölçeğin güvenirliğinin belirlenmesi için hesaplanan Alfa iç tutarlılık katsayılarının ise TETTÖ bileşenleri için .83-.86 arasında değiştiği ölçeğin tamamı için ise .91 olduğu görülmüştür. Tartışma bölümünde elde edilen sonuçlar, öğretmen adayları için geliştirilen diğer derslere yönelik tutum ölçeklerinin faktör yapıları ile karşılaştırmalı olarak tartışılmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to develop valid and reliable Likert-type scale which will reveal the attitudes of pre-service teachers towards the History of Turkish Education course. Defining the structure which to be measured, writing the items, reviewing, preparing the draft form, and collecting validity and reliability evidences are the steps followed respectively to develop the scale. At the end of the analyses, scale consisting of 25 items with components (i.e. benefit, interest, importance, love) was developed. It was named as Attitude Scale Regarding the History of Turkish Education (ASHTE). At the end of the second-order confirmatory factor analysis, the goodness of fit values indicated the scale to have consistent structure and good fit (XZ/sd=l.53; RMSEA=0.05; TLI=0.98; CFI=0.98). Alpha internal consistency coefficients were calculated to reveal the reliability of the scale. These coefficients ranged between .83 to .86 for the components of ASHTE. However, the coefficient for the entire scale was found to be .91. In the discussion section, the obtained results were discussed comparatively with the factor structures of other scales developed for pre-service teachers in relation to other courses.
