| dc.description.abstract | It is possible to calculate various index values such as speed measurements in vascular structures, resistance index (RI), pulsatility index (PI) and systolic velocity/diastolic velocity ratio (S/D) with Doppler imaging. Doppler ultrasound has provided a safe, noninvasive and rapid method to assess the physiology and pathophysiology of the fetal and maternal uterine blood circulation. It gives earlier warning of fetal distress than other tests. In this paper, Doppler indices and the results of Doppler evaluation in pregnancy were reviewed. | en_US |
