dc.description.abstractObjective: The objective of this study is to analyse clinical results for endometrioid type endometrial carcinoma in our clinic Method: Thirty-one cases, operated in our clinic between 2006 and 2010, were included. Data were collected from patient files retrospectively Results: Mean age, pregnancy rate, endometrial thickness and menarche age was 59±10, 5±3, 16±7mm, 12±1 respectively. most patients was postmenapousal (71,0%).diabetes mellitus was seen 33,3% and hypertension was 56,7%. 74,2% of patients had stage 1 and 71,0% had grade 1 disease. Cytology was negative for 91,7% lymph node invasion was negative for 87,1% of patients and lymphovascular space invasion was detected in 19.4%. Mean tumor size was higher in lymphovascular space invasion group. Myometrial invasion was more than ½ of myometrium in all lymphovascular space invasion group. Lymph node invasion was seen in 4 patients whom tumor size was more than 2cm. Dıscussion: Endometrial carcinoma seen in elderly and in early stage. Lymphovascular space invasion inceases with higher tumor size and advanced myometrial invasion. Lymph node invasion seen when tumor size is more than 2cm. © 2014, Gunes Kitap Kirtasiye.
