Öğe Design principles of the hospital clean rooms(Transactions of Famena, 2021) Can, Ahmet; Divarci, Hasan Özgüç; Buyruk, ErtanClean rooms can be defined as areas that are specifically controlled for particulate and microbial contamination and where they are constructed and used to reduce the number of infectious disease agents settling and multiplying and accessing from outside. In this study, the design and implementation of the air conditioning system in accordance with international standards, in particular DIN 1946-4, has been explained for an operating room in hospitals which is in the clean room and has the highest risk of infection. The tasks of physicians, engineers and architects in operating room design were mentioned and finally the cleaning, testing, adjustment and balancing (TAB) and validation process of the air conditioning system were mentioned. In particular, the risks of infections that may arise during the surgical intervention in the operating room and its relation to the air conditioning system have been mentioned and it has been emphasized that the biggest responsibility for hospital infections falls to engineers and architects, especially doctors and medical staff. © 2021 Transactions of Famena. For this purpose, a horizontal type GSHP test system is installed at Sivas Cumhuriyet University in Sivas Province. GSHP system consists of three main circuits. These are the ground heat exchanger (GHE), the heat pump (HP) and the heating circuit. The temperatures and pressures are measured at the various points of the system. Besides, the mass flow rate of the working fluid circulating in the GHE, heat pump and heat circuit are measured. In addition, power consumption of the compressor and the pumps are measured. Measured data were recorded every minute. The test data used in the calculations are related to the coldest day, December 18, 2016. Exergy loss, exergy efficiency, exergy loss ratio and thermodynamic perfect degree for each element of the system are computed. All rights reserved.Öğe An Experimental Study on Solar Energy Storage(UREDNISTVO CASOPISA STROJARTVO, 2007) Can, Ahmet; Karacavus, Berrin; Buyruk, ErtanUsing solar energy for heating of buildings or Supplying hot water when needed by storing solar energy under ground was investigated experimentally. For this aim, a heating system was built to store solar energy in cylindrical water tank placed under ground via solar collector. In the present study it is obtained that energy saving was seen remarkably in Edirne in Turkey (41 degrees 39 ' 54 '' N) by storing solar energy to use it at other time considering that it would balance difference between consuming and generating energies. During the experimental study, temperature of heat storage unit and surrounding under ground were Measured. In the season of heat storage, efficiency of heat storage unit of cylindrical tank was obtained as 86-96% and it was determined that 89-100%, of total heat was obtained from the sun.Öğe Numerical Study of Heat Transfer Characteristics of Extended Surfaces(UREDNISTVO CASOPISA STROJARTVO, 2007) Kaya, Derya; Buyruk, Ertan; Can, Ahmet; Fertelli, AhmetIn the present Study, effects on beat transfer of different type of extended surface placed oil a flat plate oil two dimensional rectangular cross-sections are investigated with conjugated heat transfer approach. Surface and air inlet temperature were fixed for the condition of turbulent flow. Effect of Reynolds number on heat transfer coefficient was investigated for triangular rib g geometry. Three type of extended surface geometries were used which are circular, rectangular and triangular in the present study. For these geometries, temperature Contours and local Nusselt number were obtained for Re = 500. Triangular extended geometry with groove was also investigated and temperature contour and local Nusselt number were shown.Öğe Türkiye’de akaryakıt sektöründe yaşanan haksız rekabetin sosyoekonomik etkileri(Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi, 2006) Can, Ahmet; Lordoğlu, KuvvetSon yıllarda dünyadaki ülkelerin genelinde görülen kayıtdısılık ve kayıtdısı ekonomi Türkiye'de de büyük boyutlara ulasmıstır. Kayıtdısı ekonomi toplumsal yapının bütün alanlarını etkileyen olumsuz bir gelismedir. Kayıtdısı istihdamdan, vergi kaçakçılıgına, akaryakıt kaçakçılıgından, insan ticareti ve göçmen kaçakçılıgına kadar genis bir çerçeveyi içermektedir. Bu konuda simdiye kadar kesin bir çözüm bulunabilmis degildir. Bu özelligiyle, Türkiye'de kayıtdısı ekonominin, dolayısıyla vergi kayıp ve kaçaklarının giderek büyük boyutlara ulastıgı görülmektedir. Türkiye'de kayıtdısılıgın dolayısıyla kaçakçılıgın etkin oldugu önemli bir alan akaryakıt sektörüdür. Basta imalat sanayi olmak üzere, bütün sektörlerin enerji ihtiyacının önemli bir bölümünü petrolden elde edilen akaryakıt ürünleri olusturmaktadır. Akaryakıt kaçakçılıgı, kayıtdısı/vergilendirilmemis ekonomiye yine kayıtdısı bir yöntemle enerji temin etmek biçiminde kendini göstermektedir. Ayrıca, Akaryakıt Kaçakçılıgı, sektörde haksız rekabete, yolsuzluga ve diger bir çok suç türlerinin olusmasına neden olmaktadır. Kayıtdısı bir zemine oturan ekonominin enerji ihtiyacını, piyasa denetimi ve gözetimi yeterince olmayan bir yapı içinde yine kayıtdısı alandan temin etmesi kaçınılmazdır. Bu baglamda, Türk Ekonomisinin en önemli sorunlarından biri akaryakıt sektöründeki kayıtdısılıktır. Bu çerçevede çalısmada, Türkiye'de akaryakıt kaçakçılıgının nedenleri, ekonomik ve sosyal yapı üzerindeki etkileri ve bu konuda alınabilecek tedbirler açıklanmaya çalısılmıstır.
