Öğe A CONTENT ANALYSİS FOR COMPLAİNTS RELATED TO CHİLD - FRİENDLY HOTELS(Sakarya Üniversitesi, 2019) Aslan, Sevinç; Tosun, Nurperihan; Kurtuluş, Sümeyye ArslanNowadays, families with children have an important place in tourism purchasing activities. In this context, the concept of child-friendly hotels come into prominence. A child-friendly hotel can be defined as the hotel that meets the requests and needs of families with children. Hotels that provide opportunities such as dining, room options, and hotel activities for families with children are categorized in this class (ETS TUR, 2018). In other words, child-friendly hotels can be described as facilities equipped with opportunities such as larger rooms and a special menu for children, with controlled or planned activities, close to entertainment venues (Lim et. al., 2009). Families prefer the child-friendly hotel concept for their children, so they expect to see that the children to be satisfied with the hotel. If their expectations are not met or in the case of dissatisfaction, they express their feelings by using the complaint channels. Customers can express their complaints by expressing this situation directly to the management, initiating negative word of mouth, interrupting the service (patronage) or taking legal actions such as arbitration committee for consumer problems. It is important for hotels holding their current customers in providing a long-term competitive advantage. In this case, they should satisfy and compensate their customers' dissatisfaction.Complaint management is the process of disseminating and transitioning of information in order to identify and correct various causes of customer dissatisfaction. It defines strategies are used to resolve previous mistakes of companies and learn from them in order to restore customer trust to the credibility of the organization. Encouragements of complaints and quick response to the e-complaints from the customers by the hotels are very important in terms of customer satisfaction. It is not possible to not get complaints and even the best hotels may have deficiencies in this regard. The important thing is to resolve the complaints reaching the hotels as soon as possible (Argan, 2014). Thus, hotels that have experienced this kind of situations will be able to produce goods and services that meet the expectations of customers without any mistake (Alabay, 2012). In this study, the complaints of families who prefer child-friendly hotel concept were examined and it was aimed to determine which elements are most emphasized. For this purpose, it was evaluated customer's comments who got service from ultra-all-inclusive child-friendly hotels and made comments on a well-known website. Comments were evaluated by content analysis. The list of hotels is taken from a well known holiday website. All comments until April 2018 were evaluated in the analysis. According to the website, there is a total of 45 ultra-all-inclusive hotel in Turkey. Some of these hotels are grouped under a single title on the website because they are chain hotels. Some hotels on the list have not received any complaints. Finally, 17 hotels were included in the analysis. Complaints were categorized according to frequency. While making the evaluation, complaints are limited with words such as children, family, hygiene. A total of 152 complaints were included in the analysis. As a result of the content analysis, it was determined that some words repeated too much. First of all, the phrase "child-friendly hotel" repeated 31 times of 152 complaints. Looking at the content of the complaints, expressions of families such as "we came here because it is a child-friendly hotel" draw attention. The contents of the complaints were examined and repeated words were collected in certain categories. As a result of the study, complaints were grouped under five categories. There are complaints about general cleanliness in the first category. Hotel cleaning, hygiene, food safety, environmental cleanliness are included in this category. There have also been complaints about hygiene, quality, old and stained items. In addition to this, there are complaints such as insects coming out of food, not having enough spraying, a cat wandering in restaurants. The second category is complaints about health. Problems such as lack of doctors and medical equipment and children contracting "hand- foot- mouth" disease from the pool were mentioned. One of the most commonly used words is "disease". In addition, words are used such as "fever", "diarrhea", infection", "virus" and "vomiting". The third category includes complaints about services for children. The lack of activities such as pool facilities, mini club, and animation has been subject to comments. The fourth category covers complaints about the general difficulties of the hotel. In this category, there are factors such as the fact that the hotel's wages are very high, the management cannot find solutions to the problems immediately and about the security. Especially the problems experienced in the swimming pool were frequently mentioned in the comments. Pools are one of the places where children spend the most time. Therefore, cleaning and safety must be provided by the hotel. The fifth category includes complaints about employees and their behavior. The most prominent is "complaint" and "problem" words. It was stated that the problems were reported to the staff or authorities by complaining, but not enough responds were given. The weakness of customer relations, inability to respond to the complaints and the indifference of staff are included here. Employee behaviors are effective for families to choose the hotel again. As a result, it was observed that families with children complained mostly about hygiene, cleanliness, and health. If the hotel management evaluates these complaints and finds solutions, they will be more preferred by families with children. Complaints may also affect the choice of other families. In this sense, the managers should take these issues into consideration in order to resolve the complaints and take measures to prevent new problems. Hotels determine the expectations, needs, and requests of the customers correctly and to ensure their satisfaction. This could increase profitability and positive opinions of customers about the business. It can also provide that customers do not experience this kind of problems and do not complain again.Öğe ADANMIŞLIKTAN SESSİZLİĞE, SESSİZLİKTEN VAZGEÇİŞE: SAĞLIK ÇALIŞANLARINDA SESSİZ İSTİFA ÜZERİNE KAVRAMSAL BİR ÇERÇEVE(Erzincan Binali Yıldırım Üniversitesi, 2024) Tosun, Nurperihan; Akay, Alp CanerSağlık çalışanları arasında örgütsel sessizlik, sağlık işletmelerinin ve hizmetlerinin iyileştirilmesine yönelik katkıları engelleyebilecek önemli bir sorundur. Sessiz istifa ise çalışanların işlerine karşı duydukları bağlılık ve motivasyonun zamanla azalması ve yalnızca asgari düzeyde görevlerini yerine getirmeleriyle karakterizedir. Sağlık profesyonelleri rollerinden zihinsel olarak uzaklaştıklarında, bu durum daha kötü hasta sonuçları, azalan güvenlik ve tehlikeye giren duygusal bakımla sonuçlanabilir. Bunlar hasta memnuniyeti ve genel sağlık hizmeti etkinliği için hayati önem taşıyan faktörlerdir. Sonuç olarak örgütsel sessizlik, sessizlik sarmalı ve sessiz istifa, işyeri iletişimini etkileyen birbirine bağlı ve ilişkili olgulardır. Bu doğrultuda bu çalışmanın amacı akıllı sağlık ekosistemi ve güncel uygulama örneklerinin incelenerek değerlendirilmesidir. Yöntem: Sağlık hizmet sunumunda kullanılan mobil sağlık, e-sağlık, teletıp, dijital hastane, giyilebilir sağlık teknolojileri, robotik sağlık ve büyük veri gibi akıllı sağlık araçlarının güncel durumu ve iyi uygulama örnekleri ilgili teorik literatür ve pratik yaşamdan taranarak çalışmanın sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Sonuç: Bu çalışma kapsamında, özellikle 2010’lu yıllardan itibaren sağlık hizmetlerinde dijitalleşme ve akıllı sağlık uygulamalarının giderek arttığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda mSağlık, teletıp, robotik sağlık, giyilebilir sağlık teknolojileri, büyük veri, nesnelerin interneti gibi akıllı sağlık araçlarının birbirleriyle etkileşimi ve senkronize olmasıyla “Akıllı Sağlık Ekosistemi” oluşmaya başladığı tespit edilmiştir.Öğe Assestment of hospital service quality from the view of physician, patient and health managers(Sivas Cumhuriyet University, 2020) Tosun, Nurperihan; Kurtuluş, Sümeyye ArslanObjective: Today, increasing competition conditions, increasing costs, changing the diagnosis and treatment methods with the advancement of technology, and increasing patient expectations increase the importance of service quality in the health sector.The aim of this study is to evaluate the service quality in hospital from the perspective of patients, hospital managers and physicians.Method: The population and sample of the study consisted of physicians, patients and hospital managers in Sivas Numune Hospital. The study was conducted with 60 participants who voluntarily agreed to participate. Two-part survey method was used as data collection tool. In the first part, the questions about the identifier characteristics of the participants and the second part are the five-dimensional SERVPERF scale. The data were collected by the researcher between 25.04.2019 and 10.05.2019 by face to face interview technique. AHP analysis was performed in the study. Findings and Results: The study was carried out with 20 patients, 20 physicians and 20 managers. 66.7% of the participants were male; 73.3% were married and 76% of them are at undergraduate and graduate level. 70% of the patients participated in the study provided 3 or more applications. According to the results of AHP analysis, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, tangibles and empathy dimension were found to be important for the evaluation of service quality. The importance of physicians for tangibles, empathy, assurance, reliability and responsiveness. For hospital managers, the importance rankings are empathy, tangibles, reliability, assurance and responsiveness. Although there are studies evaluating hospital service quality from the perspective of patients in the literature, there are no studies evaluating the internal and external stakeholders together.Öğe Comparisons of Health Tourism Within the EU Countries(Springer Science and Business Media B.V., 2020) Ulusoy, Hatice; Tosun, NurperihanHealth tourism is one of the sectors that includes two important branches, medical tourism and wellness-spa tourism and forms with the dynamism of health and tourism together. Today, the obstacles to accessing the health system, long waiting lists, the lack of diagnosis and treatment with new technology in countries of people, the desire to get quality health services at a more affordable cost, as well as vacationing or seeing different holiday destinations increase the demand for medical tourism. In this study, it is aimed to compare and evaluate the health tourism potential of the European Union, which has the third largest population in the world, in the context of medical tourism. France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Poland are economically important health tourism destinations. Araştırmada hastane temelli kesitsel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul'un farklı bölgelerinde ikinci basamak sağlık hizmeti veren dört farklı kamu hastanesinde çalışan hemşireler oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veriler, çevrimiçi anket tekniği kullanılarak araştırmacıların kendileri tarafından toplanmıştır. Değerlendirilen ve verilerin analizinde kullanılan toplam anket sayısı 527'dir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 26 ve AMOS 24 paket programları kullanılmıştır. Verilere tanımlayıcı istatistikler, bağımsız örneklem t testi, ANOVA testi ve yapısal eşitlik modellemesi uygulanmıştır. Yapısal eşitlik analizi ile elde edilen bulgular, modelin yapı geçerliğinin sağlandığını göstermiştir. Araştırmanın ampirik sonucu, COVID-19 salgınının hemşirelerin kaygı düzeylerini artırdığını ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca hemşirelerin birbirlerine olan güvenlerinin birbirlerine yardım etme davranışları üzerindeki etkisinin COVID-19 kaygısının kısmen aracılık ettiği belirlenmiştir. Meslektaşlarına karşı yüksek güven duygusu ile hareket eden hemşirelerin COVID-19 kaygı düzeyleri birbirlerine yardım etme davranışlarını azaltmıştır.Öğe Determıning The Effect of Health Literacy On Healthy Life Style And Rational Drug Use By Path Analysis(Ümit Muhammet KOÇYİĞİT, 2021) Yalman, Fuat; Tosun, NurperihanPurpose: The main purpose of this study is; to determine the effect of health literacy on healthy lifestyle and rational drug use by path analysis. Material and Methods: The universe of the research consists of patients and their relatives who receive health services from pharmacies operating in the city center of Bolu. The total number of questionnaires evaluated and used in data analysis is 400. SPSS 26 and AMOS 24 package programs were used in the analysis of the data. For reliability, item analysis based on item-total correlation was performed. Factors were determined by explanatory factor analysis (EFA), and the effect of health literacy on healthy lifestyle and rational drug use was determined with path analysis. With item analysis based on item-total correlation, it was seen that the data met the reliability requirement. The construct validity revealed by the explanatory factor analysis was also confirmed by path analysis. Results: Ensuring validity and reliability; shows the existence of a structural relationship in the effect of health literacy on healthy lifestyle and rational drug use. It was determined that health literacy has a positive effect on rational drug use (β=1.055; pÖğe E-Sağlık Okuryazarlığı ve Akılcı İlaç Kullanımı Farkındalığı Arasındaki İlişkinin Belirlenmesine Yönelik Bir Araştırma(Sivas Cumhuriyet University, 2021) Tosun, Nurperihan; Hoşgör, HaydarAkılcı İlaç Kullanımı Farkındalığı (AİKF), tedavi sürecinin başarısında yaşamsal bir rol oynar. İlaç kullanımının, bireylerin karar verme mekanizmaları ile ilişkili olduğu düşünüldüğünde, AİK ve E-Sağlık Okuryazarlığı (E-SO) düzeylerinin birlikte değerlendirilmesi önem arz etmektedir. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmanın temel amacı; bireylerin E-SO düzeyleri, AİKF algıları ve internet kullanım düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Çalışmanın ikincil amacı ise; katılımcıların sosyo-demografik ve sosyo-ekonomik nitelikleri ile hem E-SO, hem de AİKF arasında anlamlı bir farklılığın olup olmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Anket yöntemi kullanılarak Sivas ilinde gerçekleştirilen çalışma 459 katılımcı ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışma sonucunda katılımcıların orta düzeyin biraz üzerinde bir E-SO düzeyine ve yüksek düzeyde AİKF düzeyine sahip oldukları hesaplanmıştır. E-SO ile AİKF arasında 0,215 düzeyinde; E-SO ile internet kullanımı arasında ise 0,549 düzeyinde pozitif ve anlamlı ilişkiler saptanmışken (p0,05). Ayrıca 31 yaşından küçüklerin, bekârların, en az üniversite mezuniyetine sahip olanları ve işsizlerin diğerlerine kıyasla daha yüksek E-SO ve AİKF düzeyi ortalamalarına sahip olduğu ve istatistiksel açıdan ilgili farkların anlamlı olduğu saptanmıştır. Özetle; bireylerin internet kullanım düzeyleri arttıkça E-SO düzeyleri, E-SO düzeyleri arttıkça da AİKF düzeylerinin yükseldiği sonucuna varılmıştır.Öğe EFFECTS OF THE URBAN IMAGE ON THE DESTINATION IMAGE IN HEALTH TOURISM: THE CASE OF SIVAS(Dilaver TENGİLİMOĞLU, 2018) Biçer, Derya Fatma; Tosun, Nurperihan; Sayar, Burak; Sağlık, ErkanThis study aims to determine the effects of urban image on destination image in terms of health tourism. The population of this research, which is designed as a descriptive and cross-sectional type, consists of people over 18 years of age living in Sivas province center. 387 people were included in the sample of the study, and 387 people were reached. Survey method was used as data collection tool. The questionnaire consists of three parts; urban image scale, destination image scale and questionnaire form designed to measure the introductory information of the participants. The data were evaluated using SPSS 21 statistical analyses, correlation and regression analyses. 51% of the participants are male, 33.1% are public employees, 58.7% have bachelor’s degree and 19.9% have 1604-2000₺ monthly income. 75.6% of the participants stated that they have gone to the thermal center before, and 43.6% reported that the purpose of the trip to the thermal resort was vacation. The perceptions of urban image and destination image of the participants were found to be above the average. According to the correlation analysis, there is a positively moderate correlation between urban image and destination image. The result of regression analysis is that the urban image influences the image of the region.Öğe Evaluating the Factors (Stress, Anxiety and Depression) Affecting the Mental Health Condition of Nurses During the COVID-19 Pandemic(Sage Publications Inc, 2022) Isik, Oguz; Tengilimoglu, Dilaver; Tosun, Nurperihan; Zekioglu, Aysu; Tengilimoglu, OnurThis study aimed to determine the depression, anxiety and stress levels that have negatively impacted nurses' mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. A sample group of 826 nurses working in Turkey were asked to fill in an online questionnaire in order to evaluate their psychological responses and the related factors that have adversely affected their mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, 696 nurses (84.3%) showed symptoms of depression, 644 (78%) reported anxiety and 543 (65.74%) reported stress. This study also highlighted that the most concerning factor for the nurses was the risk of transmitting the COVID-19 infection to their household members (89.2%). The most important problems faced by the nurses during COVID-19 included equipment shortages (50.7%), administrative problems (38.5%) and issues such as accommodation and nutrition (27.4%). These were found to have a statistically significant correlation with the nurses' levels of depression, anxiety and stress. The fear of losing a household member, the inability to their household's social needs and the fear of death were among the factors that concerned nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic, significantly affecting their levels of depression, anxiety and stress. Taking the necessary measures to deal with the aforementioned problems and fears is important to protect the health, productivity and efficiency of nurses during the pandemic period.Öğe Evaluation of Students' Opinions Regarding Distance Learning Practices in Turkish Universities during the Covid-19 Pandemic(Tuba-Turkish Acad Sciences, 2021) Isik, Oguz; Tengilimoglu, Dilaver; Tekin, Perihan Senel; Tosun, Nurperihan; Zekioglu, AysuThe purpose of this study is to identify hether students at Turkish universities are having difficulties in the distance learning process and to reveal their opinions regarding the system. Using a cross-cultural survey design, data were collected from 5052 students. Based on the collected data, 58.5% of the students have asynchronous distance learning classes in their universities. Access to distance learning classes is one of the problems, and it is attributed to computers, internet, and connectivity issues as well as with starting the lessons too early or late. A majority of participants (73.7%) found class materials uploaded by lecturers to distance learning systems to be sufficient or partially sufficient, and 36.7% stated that they had problems accessing resources regarding their homework. Students' satisfaction level with the distance learning system scored 4.4 out of 10. According to the evaluation regarding whether the level of satisfaction of participants varied across the type of university, the satisfaction level of students in public universities is generally low (score of 4.3 out of 10) compared to satisfaction in foundation universities (4.9 out of 10).Öğe EXAMINING THE EFFECTS OF COVID-19 ON HEALTH SERVICES MARKETING RESEARCH WITH A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS(Dilaver TENGİLİMOĞLU, 2021) Tosun, Nurperihan; Yıldız, Selçuk YasinAim: The Covid-19 pandemic has triggered serious socio-economic, social, and political crises as well as an important public health crisis in infected countries. The studies in the literature before and after the Covid-19 pandemic were examined with bibliometric analysis method by considering the Coronavirus from the perspective of health services marketing. Thus, the articles written in the field of health care marketing from the past to the present were examined in detail, and it is aimed to contribute to the development of the field and further research Methods: The bibliometric analysis method was used to uncover the current situation in health care marketing and to determine research gaps. Findings: A total of 1669 studies were identified using the keywords "health service and marketing," "health management and marketing," "health marketing," and "healthcare and marketing”. This research examines studies published since 1981, when the first study in health marketing was conducted. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, medical tourism, social marketing, and pharmacovigilance were among the most common keywords used by authors. Conclusion: In the studies carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is seen that the keywords ‘hospitals, marketing communication, machine learning, and artificial intelligence’ are preferred, respectively.Öğe HEALTH TOURISM EDUCATION: THE CASE OF TURKEY AND THE WORLD(Dilaver TENGİLİMOĞLU, 2018) Ulusoy, Hatice; Tosun, Nurperihan; Akkum, BüşraThe aim of this study is to investigate the university training programs that train professional manpower in the field of health tourism in Turkey and in the world. The study is descriptive and cross-sectional type. Data were collected from the web pages of the universities on February 1-25, 2018. The curriculum content of programs was investigated in terms of the credits of the courses, the process of the programs, the education fees, the language of education and the universities and institutions to which they are affiliated. There are five programs in the field of health tourism, with 3 masters without thesis and 2 masters with thesis. There is no doctoral program and also BSc program in Turkey. There are two programs that associate degree which is called as health tourism management. In the study, in total 12 country and 25 programs were examined. Three of them are doctoral, nine are masters, 11 are BSc degree and three are associate degree level. Considering that health tourism is one of the high value added of the sector in Turkey and the World it can be argued that the number of programs to train professional manpower in this sector is not sufficient.Öğe HEKİM VE HEMŞİRELERİN TIBBİ HATA TUTUMLARININ BELİRLENMESİNE YÖNELİK BİR ÇALIŞMA(2020) Ulusoy, Hatice; Tosun, NurperihanAmaç: Tıbbı hatalar hasta güvenliğinin önemli bir bileşenidir. Bu çalışma hekim ve hemşirelerin tıbbı hatatutumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte olan araştırmada veriler kişisel bilgi formu ve “Tıbbi Hatalarda TutumÖlçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Çalışmaya bir devlet hastanesinde çalışmakta olan 203 hekim ve hemşire katılmıştır.Veriler SPSS 21 programında tanımlayıcı istatistikler ve parametrik olmayan testler kullanılarakdeğerlendirilmiştir.Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılanların %37,4’ü hekim, %62,6’sı hemşiredir. Katılımcıların %29,6’sı lisans mezunu,%71,4’ü kadın, %59,6’sı 31-40 yaş aralığında olup 76,8’i dahili birimlerde, %61,1’i haftada 40 saatin atındaçalışmaktadır. %53,2’sinin mesleki çalışma süresi 10 yılın altındadır. Katılımcıların tıbbı hata ölçeğindenaldıkları toplam puan ortalaması 3,55±0,36 olup, tıbbı hata algısı, tıbbı hataya yaklaşım ve tıbbı hata nedenlerialt boyutlarından aldıkları puan ortalamaları sırasıyla; 3,09±0,73; 3,56±0,46; ve 3,70±0,45’dir.Sonuç: Hekim ve hemşirelerin tıbbı hatalara yönelik farkındalık düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır.Öğe Impacts of COVID-19 pandemic period on depression, anxiety and stress levels of the healthcare employees in Turkey(Elsevier Ireland Ltd, 2021) Tengilimoglu, Dilaver; Zekioglu, Aysu; Tosun, Nurperihan; Isik, Oguz; Tengilimoglu, OnurThe COVID-19 pandemic has turned into a public health issue since December 2019 and has risen in all countries in the world. The healthcare employees taking part in the pandemic will eventually be affected by the process. The aim of the study is to determine the levels of the anxiety, depression, and stress of the healthcare employees during the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey. As the data collection tool, an e-survey was used. In the first section, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) was used. In the second section of the survey, the problems experienced by the healthcare employees during the pandemic and their working media were aimed to be defined. In the last section, the socio-demographic features of the employees were investigated. 2076 healthcare employees participated in the study. The results showed that the major cause of the anxiety or stress among healthcare employees comes from the fear to contaminate the COVID-19 virus to their families (86.9%). It was observed that the levels of depression, anxiety and stress of female employees are higher than that of male employees (p < 0.003). The highest depression, anxiety and stress levels of healthcare employees come from the pandemic, emergency, and internal services (p < 0.001). Health managers and policymakers need to make a move immediately to find solutions for the physical and psychological needs of the health employees. On the other hand, in order to minimize the risk, preparation of the work power plans beforehand and inclusion of obligatory referral chain into health services can be suggested.Öğe İyonize Radyasyona Maruz Kalan Sağlık Çalışanlarının İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği Bilgi Düzeyi ile Radyasyon Risklerine Karşı Tutumlarının Belirlenmesi(Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi, 2023) Çakmak, Tuğba; Tosun, NurperihanAmaç: Bu çalışmada iyonize radyasyonla çalışan farklı meslek dallarında ki sağlık çalışanlarının yasal mevzuat bilgi düzeyi, iş sağlığı güvenliği bilgi düzeyi ve radyasyonun risklerine karşı bilgi, tutum ve davranışlarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı nitelikte olan bu çalışma, Tokat ili ve ilçeleri devlet hastanelerinde iyonize radyasyonla çalışılan ünitelerde görev yapan 156 sağlık çalışanı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmış olup, veriler kişisel bilgi formu, iş güvenliği bilgi düzeyi formu ve iyonlaştırıcı radyasyonla çalışanların radyasyondan korunma bilgisi ölçeklerinden kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, güvenilirlik analizleri, ki-kare, t testi ve Anova testleri kullanılmıştır Bulgular: Katılımcıların %84,6’sının çalıştıkları kurumların şua izinlerini düzenli verdiği, %94,2’sinin periyodik muayeneleri düzenli takip ettiği, %82,7’sinin kurumlarının mesleksel risklere yönelik ve iş sağlığı güvenliği eğitimlerini verdiği tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcıların %91,7’si kurum tarafından koruyucu ekipman temini sağlandığını ve %89,’i yıllık kontrollerinin yapıldığını belirtmiştir. Katılımcıların İyonlaştırıcı Radyasyonla Çalışanların Radyasyondan Korunma Bilgi Düzeyi ölçeğinin “Radyasyondan Korunma” alt boyutu puan ortalaması 1,75±0,71; “Radyasyon Fiziği, Biyolojisi, Radyasyon Kullanım İlkeleri” alt boyutu puan ortalaması, 2,25±0,92’dir. “Güvenli İyonlaştırıcı Radyasyon Kullanımı” alt boyutu puan ortalaması, 2,07±0,94’tür.“Radyasyon Güvenliği” alt boyutu puan ortalaması, 1,79± 0,83 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç ve Öneri: İyonize radyasyonla çalışan sağlık personelinin bilgi ve davranışları incelendiğinde radyasyon fiziği, biyolojisi, güvenli radyasyon kullanımı, radyasyon güvenliği ve radyasyondan korunmada bilgi düzeylerinin istenilen düzeyde olmadığı saptanmıştır. Sağlık personellerine radyasyondan korunma ve kişisel koruyucu donanımın önemine yönelik belirli aralıklarla hizmet içi eğitimler gerçekleştirilmelidir.Öğe Kangal Balıklı Kaplıca ’ya Yurt Dışından Gelen Sağlık Medikal Turistlerin Profili: 3 Yıllık İzlem Çalışması(Ankara Bilim University, 2018) Ulusoy, Hatice; Tosun, Nurperihan; Akkum, BüşraKangal Balıklı Kaplıcası balıkları nedeniyle dünyada önemli ve spesifik bir balneoterapi merkezidir. Çalışmada, sağlık turizmi için Sivas ili Kangal Balıklı Kaplıcaya gelen medikal turistlerin profilinin ortaya konması amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma tanımlayıcı ve retrospektif olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evren ve örneklemini Sivas Kangal Balıklı Kaplıca tesisine 01.01.2015- 10.02.2018 tarihleri arasında gelen yabancı sağlık turistlerin tamamı N=193 oluşturmuştur. Tesisi 01.01.2015- 10.02.2018 tarihleri arası 8953 yerli, 193 yabancı sağlık turisti ziyaret etmiştir. Sağlık turistlerinin; %56’si Almanya’dan, %28,5’i Rusya’dan , %13’ü Kazakistan’dan ve %2,6’si Amerika’dan gelmiştir ve gelenlerin %43’ü Türk asıllı yabancı ülke vatandaşıdır. Sağlık turistlerinin, %39,9’u kadın, %60,1’i erkektir ve %52,8’i tesise tek başına gelmiştir. Sağlık turistlerinin %50’si merkeze Ağustos ayında gelmekte ve %15,5’i merkezi tekrarlı tercih etmektedir. Tesiste ortalama kalış süresi 11,49 gündür. Gelenlerin %28,5’i acente aracılığı ile 71,5’i ise sevkli gelmiştir. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda önemli bir balneoterapi merkezi olan tesisin yabancı turistlerce tanınırlığının ve tercih edilme düzeyinin oldukça yetersiz olduğu ileri sürülebilirÖğe KAYSERI'S JOURNEY TO BECOMING A MEDICAL TOURISM BRAND: PERSPECTIVES FROM HUMANS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE(Erciyes University, 2024) Tosun, Nurperihan; Arık, YılmazTurkey's potential in medical tourism is constantly increasing and is being realized within the framework of certain major cities. Kayseri has a high potential in terms of health and tourism infrastructure and has reached the capacity to make significant contributions to medical tourism. This study aims to reveal the potential of Kayseri province to become a brand city in medical tourism through SWOT analysis. Within the scope of qualitative research, data were collected by conducting semi-structured interviews with ten people and asking the same questions from the ChatGPT-4o application, an artificial intelligence platform. During the interviews, eight questions prepared based on the literature and expert opinions were asked to the participants and the answers were audio recorded. SWOT analyses and comparisons were made with the data collected from both expert opinions and ChatGPT-4o application. After the comparison, the similarities obtained in the strengths are; good health infrastructure, the presence of specialized healthcare professionals, the city's location in the Cappadocia region, price advantage. The similarities in weaknesses were; connecting flights from abroad, insufficient promotional and marketing activities, lack of qualified personnel in medical tourism, and insufficient cooperation between institutions. Opportunities were similar in terms of high demand potential through the provision of affordable health services, the integration of medical tourism and tourism activities, and government incentives. The similarities in threats are that Istanbul, Antalya and Izmir have superior competitive power, medical tourists perceive Turkey as risky in terms of security, and there is a risk of undesirable situations that may occur and damage the international image with negative comments. In order for Kayseri to become a brand city in medical tourism, it was suggested that stakeholders should cooperate more strongly, professional promotion and marketing efforts should be emphasized, qualified personnel should be trained, the tourism advantages of Cappadocia and Erciyes should be integrated into medical tourism, the diaspora potential should be evaluated, charter flights should be organized, and the number of intermediary organizations should be increased.Öğe Mediating effect of disease severity on the relationship between smoking status and quality of life in psoriasis patients(Cukurova Univ, Fac Medicine, 2022) Tosun, Mustafa; Ilgun, Gulnur; Tosun, NurperihanPurpose: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between smoking and quality of life and to investigate the mediating role of disease severity on this relationship in psoriasis patients. Materials and Methods: In the study, 268 psoriasis patients were reached by the convenience sampling method. In the study, patients' quality of life was measured with dermatology quality of life index (DLQI) and disease severity was measured with psoriasis area and severity index (PASI). The effect of the independent variable (smoking) on the dependent variable (quality of life), both directly and indirectly through the mediating variable (disease severity), was examined by process analysis. Results: Smoking status shows statistically significant differences according to gender, age, marital status, occupation, and income groups. 17.02% of women and 44.09% of men smoke. 19.74% of single and 33.85% of married smoke. 20% of unemployed and 39.13% of employees smoke. 17.76% of low-income, 50.91% of middle-income, and 40.98% of high-income people smoke. This cross-sectional study revealed that smoking in psoriasis has no direct effect on the quality of life, but that smoking has a full indirect effect on the quality of life through disease severity. Conclusion: In the study, it was found that smoking negatively affects the quality of life through both disease severity. Accordingly, it is recommended that patients be informed about the effect of smoking on their diseases.Öğe Sağlık Çalışanlarının Covid-19 Bilgi Düzeyinin Pandemi Sırasında Sosyal Yakınlık ve Riskten Kaçınma Davranışlarına Etkisi(Erciyes Üniversitesi, 2022) Tosun, Nurperihan; Yalman, FuatSağlık çalışanları tüm pandemilerde hayatlarını riske atarak hastalıklarla ön saflarda mücadele etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, çalışanların COVID-19 bilgi düzeyinin pandemi sürecinde sosyal yakınlık ve riskten kaçınma davranışlarına etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmada hastane temelli kesitsel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma evrenini Ankara'da ikinci basamak sağlık hizmeti veren iki farklı kamu hastanesinin tüm sağlık profesyonelleri oluşturmuştur. Ankette kolayda örnekleme yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Değerlendirilen ve verilerin analizinde kullanılan anket sayısı toplam 521'dir. Sağlık çalışanlarının COVID-19 bilgi düzeyinin riskten kaçınma davranışları üzerindeki doğrudan nedensel etkisinin pozitif ve 0,29 birim olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sosyal yakınlık davranışları üzerindeki doğrudan nedensel etki pozitif ve 0.17 birimdir. Ayrıca kadın cinsiyeti ile riskten kaçınma davranışı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Sağlık çalışanlarının COVID-19 salgını sırasında kazandıkları bilgi düzeyi, riskten kaçınma ve sosyal yakınlık davranışları gösterme eğilimlerini artırmaktadır.
